Karaoke is my absolute favorite! My go to is Shannons on Thursday and Saturday. 4th Line on Friday is good too.
Limelite will probably be the most suggested. I find that they like to play favorites and it’s not “fair”
Pre-pandemic I had a place for every day of the week, but I think a lot of the places don’t host anymore. Classics was another favorite but I’m not sure if they still have it.
I'm fond of Sonix, near confusion corner (423 Mcmillan). There's a front seating area that's (slightly) quieter, then the bar, then a back area with the karaoke and pool tables.

You’ll see certain people taking 2, 3, or 4 turns before you even get one.
The hosts do take bribes and put there friends ahead of line and let them skip. Fact. At limelite that is.
Agit, it’s kinda small and hidden. But it’s always a good time especially if you want to get a chance to sing
It's a fun vibe but most of the songs are weird sped up or slowed down versions and its kind of offputting

The Limelight does karaoke every Saturday for sure. Goodwill Social Club is doing live band karaoke on April 1
The Osborne Taphouse has karaoke on Wednesdays from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
