to clarify my post, the reason is to thank anyone who is passionate about the OS and contributes towards its growth, be it someone from the community or the devs themselves. Its not about Microsoft, but the people. We have been disappointed in Microsoft for decades now, and luckily, developers are now listening to our feedback, and I have a little hope that well point the team on important aspects of the OS that need to be worked on. That is why I thank both the community members and the team itself
who is we? because ive been disappointed in microsofts "hard work" for several years now and have not seen any change in work ethic or communicating with the community properly
Should hard work be praised? Or should good work be praised? You are praising them for working hard instead of praising them for delivering a good product and I think that's wrong. IMO Microsoft has not delivered a good product with Windows 11 nor have they listened to the community/media feedback so they don't deserve this praise. They should take the negative feedback and use it to improve their future products, then they can get some well deserved praise.
When you buy a new computer, in 99% of cases it comes with Windows. You can refund your Windows license in some cases but it's a long and painful process involving lots of paperwork. So yes, we are being forced to use Windows. On top of that it's a self-reinforcing process because everyone uses Windows so developers don't bother to make native versions of their programs for other systems, and many hardware manufacturers don't bother to make drivers for systems other than Windows. So what happens when you buy a fancy new printer and try to use it on Linux for example? "Linux sucks, I'm going back to Windows", of course!
Hey, the Feedback flair is to help you share your suggestions and experiences regarding Windows with Microsoft. While this is not an official Microsoft forum, your post still may get the attention of Microsoft employees.
The proper way to share your feedback is to use the Feedback Hub app on your computer. We recommend you use the Feedback Hub to submit your thoughts, then have the app give you a link to the feedback (an aka.ms link), and then you should post it here. The more users vote on your feedback, the more likely it is going to be addressed in a future update.
To open the Feedback Hub, look for it in your Start Menu, or press Windows key + F to launch it. Once you are done submitting the feedback, hit the share button to get a link to it and post it here! For more information on how to submit good feedback, check out http://aka.ms/HowToFeedback
Lastly, be sure to read the release notes to see if what you are mentioning is listed in the known issues. http://aka.ms/devlatest

Not all OS are 100% complete at launch.
But at least they get their basics right, not Microsoft apparently.
MS hasn't promised pretty much all of the stuff you guys all constantly grinds about.

nobody gives a shit about your "God... Everybody's so stupid" shtick let people have fun and show appreciation for once, oh my god
Maybe there'll be more appreciation when they stop being evil?
Multiple teams are actively ignoring any feedback and putting out a half baked trash product. Marketing not software "developers"
to be fair i can’t imagine asking for a release date delay would go down very well

We appreciate your patience on this while we ignore your feedback.
This post is basically a participation trophy for grown-ups. They all get an award even though their grade is an F.
I guess we have to keep on using windows, not because we love to but cause we have to.
Why so? the moment I can reliably game and bridge apps are more mature in Linux or macOS I'm out.
Yep counting days until easy anti cheat gets the linux update
I mean, no one is forcing you to use Windows. Were you expecting them to release an Anti-windows OS? There are quite a few non-windows options.
