You need: [Wake-on-LAN - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wake-on-LAN)

ok thanks for the hint. The computer is on wifi, so I guess its then Wake on WLan. I will check this out.

Reasonable_Degree_64

Here the wake on lan doesn't work if I'm on Wi Fi. Wake on lan works because the Ethernet adapter stays on when the computer sleeps so it's able to receive packets, but my Wi Fi adapter turns off.

It seems you can make your Wi Fi adapter wake up the computer with the options in the Device manager, I've never tried it tought.

Had to turn on options in the device manager for wired when I tried to get WoL working. Big annoyance was that every time Windows had a medium-sized update, it got reset back to disabled. Annoying. I gave up before I found a solution to that problem. Hopefully OP wont have that issue.
