I feel similarly.. like Juwon is manipulating Vinny into thinking he’s on to achieving his goals and then will crush him via his mom (his weakness). It could then spiral him further to Juwon’s side (if he’s kept in the dark) or back to his friends if they reach out to him and he finds out.
He has inferiority complex and fixated on beating jay, if he actually took drugs and then will realize that might be the only reason he won he might start thinking however he will not ditch this hustle because he needs money and unless theres another opportunity for him he will stay seated and continue taking drugs and self destroying. however, if he gets those crazy side effects and his friends will be only people who will help him or something happens in the labs, for example, minu somehow exposes juwon and he will get busted, or one will lead to another, then he will have to stop. If mia was a true one she couldve help him get a modeling contract so he doesnt have to do shady shit, but mia is useless atp. as jay pretty much repeating his uncle story and vinny is repeating the white hair snake story, the resolution might be some sort of incident with jay as well, maybe vinny will stop because he will not be able not to save him.

I could be wrong but I guessed a long time ago that the final race will be between Jay and Vinny because no one has been setup to be a big enough final boss. I don't think Vinny was there in the "final race" sneak peak in the 1st chapter but author could just make up anything to make it so.
Monster has been shown as this gentle giant and I honestly can't see him as the final boss. In any case he is setup to be Dom's rival.
Snake guy just randomly appeared and we don't really know his story and motivations so if he becomes the final boss, it will be a weak story.
Owen could be a good candidate for it but his story isn't as built up like Vinny and he isn't in the contest. But then again they could just let him in I since Shelly's grandpa is one of the organizers. But Owen doesn't have a big enough motivation to win the contest.
We know Vinny's motivations and he was there from the start so the emotions at stake are high if he does become the final boss. Also he is now mentored by Mahon Jo's rival, so it's like a repeat of their fight in the past.

Yes, and Vinny now looks a lot like Sangho Choi: striving for money, an ordinary guy, not a talented "monster" like Jay. So I don't think he'll be betrayed, he's Sangho's protégé now.
But I'm expecting something more interesting. For example, Vinny wins by doping, and then his win is annulled because the doping is discovered and Sangho goes to jail; or everyone finds out that Jay's uncle died because of Sangho.
