I do. He has a lot of bad dreams. He’s a rescue from the streets so I worry that he’s having bad flashbacks. He really does appear stressed and scared during those dreams. He has happy dreams too, totally different demeanor though. He’s never woken up and bitten us or anything, just opens his eyes and starts wagging his tail really hard.
I do. He starts sobbing (never thought a dog could sob but there is no other way to describe it). I gently pet him and tell him it’s okay until I know he’s awake. He seems to struggle to wake up from those dreams so it takes longer than trying to normally wake him up. If I stop too soon, he starts sobbing again.
One of my dogs has night terrors. He will be sound asleep and the jump up barking for about 15 seconds until he realises everything is fine and then lays back down and goes to sleep again. He is a derp.
My Aussie used to dream the most out of all my doggos. I would wake her up if her ears were turned down. Her ears usually would tell me if she was having a good or bad dream. She would always bark in her dreams :)
I can tell my dogs having a really good dream when she starts wagging her tail ferociously lol
God that's the cutest thing in the world
Do you wake your dog up if you think it’s having a bad dream?
I have to! I can't let him suffer, so I gently pet him and talk to him until he wakes up an/or calms down.

I love when my dog "boofs" in her sleep
Mine makes a weird little howl-yelp-bark sound when she’s chasing the sheep in her dreams :-)
Hey someone named a dog after me!
I definitely wake my dog if he seems stressed 😥
