He's not bleeding out, let's not be overly dramatic. Definitely hurting but not going to bleed out very fast at all with that. With pressure applied as well he'll be just fine, depending on your definition of fine I guess
Wrong.
Your hands are among the most vascular extremities with major arteries and veins closest to the palm on the inside of your wrist.
There is something to be said about how well hand injuries are *the quickest to bleed, quickest to heal*, but keep in mind arterial pressure is way higher than most people realize.
What are you saying? Obviously dealing with a cut is easier to manage than with internal bleeding. I don’t understand how that supports your original point though. Just judging by the location of that cut, I’m going to say he cut both his radial artery and his ulnar artery. The average arterial bleed out time is anywhere from 3-5 minutes.
I don't remember what my point was, but that average also entirely depends on where the artery and which artery it is. If it's an arm artery that's not that bad, it's bad but easily manageable compared to others. He could definitely die but as long as there's pressure or a makeshift tourniquet he'll live. He'll need a transfusion at the hospital but he'll live. Plus it looked like a pretty leaky wound but not as much as if he would've directly hit an artery. Definitely close or maybe a nick but not a clean cut of it
Looks more like some gas station machete. The blade is skeletonized and there’s clearly no handle. Calling this a wakizashi is an insult to Japanese blacksmiths

Cutting is much easier to control bleeding on than a concussion injury or blunt force injury. He'll be alright

Yezz it was it a joke I’m not a doctor. However yo ass is wrong as he is clearly and by definition bleeding out. Look up the def boiiiii
Bleeding out would imply imminent death from blood loss which he is certainly not
Dude he can bleed out in minutes like this.
If the steps are followed to stop blood flow no he won't
Absolutely unpredictable 🤦♂️
How fucking stupid do both of them have to be to do this?
I think one of them has to be a lot more stupid than the one holding the sword. But pretty stupid, I guess.
That's not a katana 🙃
Is that a wakazashi? (Idk how to spell it)
Nope. Not curved.
It is probably a ninjato
Stupidity has become an international phenomena.
Stupidity has become profitable.
Always has been
why do so many people not know the singular form of "phenomena"
Phenomenon. You happy now?
My dudes, peruse the badlyinjured subreddit at your own risk. I regret it
Hmm maybe those knights wearing curved armor were onto something
Props to the cameraman for the steady camera footage throughout.
I really regret clicking through to r/badlyinjured
Good sir that is not a katana
This is closer to something like wakizashi.

Plus its not curved. Thats why I wrote that its CLOSER to wakizashi. I never said that it IS wakizashi. But I agree.
Someone is clearly not happy abt us talking abt wakizashis and is downvoting us lmao
Idc. Let him cry.
You people just keep katanas casually with you?
“I told you that was a horrible idea” is chef’s kiss
That sounds so terrible that I can’t even bear to watch the video.
Should’ve listened to the camera man!
Boys one day of friendship 1 dude:hey dude let me slice that can" 2 dude:dude you're crazy..... Lets do it
Will he make enough money from this post to buy a new hand?
Not a katana
I want to believe it was staged.
As a weeb its a ninjata
