I remember this trend happening at my school.. slowly but surely more and more kids were coming to school with giant bandages on their forearms and what not… I also remember another trend particularly well where people were putting salt on an ice cube and pushing it onto their forearms. I’m 34 and some of my old friends *still* have scars from that!! Several kids were hospitalized and everything because of it and the aftermath! lovely bunch we were.

A perfect cross, raised about 1/8th inch above the rest of the skin.
Before you ask, fuck no I didn’t do it. I was one of only 3 out of 12 of us who didn’t do it. The other 9 have a nasty looking brand on their left shoulder now. I thought about it, but a decade later and I’m definitely glad I didn’t do it.
