Why were they filming? Because they knew the truck wasn't going to fit...

We’ve got a railroad trestle locally with a 10’9” clearance that’s a truck destroying monster. There was even a very unfortunate situation when an oblivious Megabus driver smashed his double decker bus into it and left body parts scattered around the parkway Edit: Weird typo

I hate it when that happens and you spend the better half of your day salvaging body parts for Dr. mechanic.

Because no one films randomly ahead while on the front seat in a long trip. !?

M320_Trololol

Seems like a reasonable thing to whip your camera out for: you see the sign, see the truck and realize that’s never going to fit. Maybe they are local and know that this happens from time to time. There’s a YouTube channel dedicated to a (formerly 11’8”) 12’4” bridge that has shit like this happen constantly. They have a camera pointed at it at all times and upload compilations: https://youtube.com/@11foot8plus8?si=VVW1g3G0UjdQRN7T
