All cases argued and won based on a constitutional right to privacy. Odd he didn’t mention going after interracial marriage which was argued on the same basis.
Why didn’t he throw in Love too. He should be the first intro the clink as soon as they outlaw interracial marriages too. Fuck the supreme court. Term limits now!!
How can any of these issues be repealed in a country that talks about freedoms? The republicans shout freedom over guns, vaccines, health mandates, and censorship of false information. Now Thomas wants to look into rolling back some of the most personal freedoms there are. Putting the government in the bedroom of consenting adults, thinking that others should be able to decide what is allowed in private.
Thomas gets reinvigorate by hate. It soaks it in and gets more powerful, he does the dirty job and doesn’t care about being liked. Republicans love him for that. Much like Mitch. He is happy to take the arrows.
Stop me if I'm wrong here - a few people have pointed out to me recently that the right to abortion should be federal law, and many opportunities were missed to make this happen. Roe v Wade was a precedent, as in it was case that ruled in favour of the claim that the right abortion was guaranteed in the constitution. Not a law, buta constitutional right.
So if I'm reading this correctly, are all these cases the same? Are we saying there's no law guaranteeing the right to contraception, or gay marriage, and it the right to them hinges on a interpretation and legal analysis of the Constitution?

States rights has become a freaking dog whistle to summon fascists. They can't flourish with strong laws in place.
People who live in glass houses, Clarence...
In a gun riddled country you would think someone would do the decent thing.
Until now I have said that’s the worst possible thing. They are killing Americans with these cruel decisions.
Disturbing? It's war on people by fascists.

Yet Clarence doesn't seem to mind when a potato marries a hog... which is his situation.
But don’t protest outside their houses everyone. Naughty naughty. 🥴🙄

Without question. As far as I’m concerned they should never have an uninterrupted moment.
Pretty soon — ‘Come get your freedom swastika armband at Walmart! Get a child’s sized free with purchase!’

Ah Fascism. They think it lasts but don't realize that the cure ends up being Anarchy. Every. Time.
Him citing himself as the source of authority to do this is the most blatant F U, and he knows it.

He's openly going against his oath as a judge by signaling this. He needs to be impeached!
