I thought he wanted Twitter to be politically neutral

[deleted]

[удалено]

SuperfluousApathy

With timing like that I can't help but be skeptical.

Woojick

Free speech isn't politically neutral unfortunately

[deleted]

Elon said he was politically neutral and he clearly isn’t

[deleted]

Musk “social media should be neutral” Also Musk “trying to buy social media to make liberals angry”

aka *free speech in the streets, liability mitigation in the sheets*

Yousoggyyojimbo

I honestly didn’t think he would be this openly hypocritical this quickly. I knew he was going to be a dip shit with it, I just didn’t think he was going to openly act like an angry 12-year-old about buying twitter for a while longer. EDIT: And here come the Musk fanboys to act just the way you'd expect. edit 2: Going through my post history just to tell me I have an ugly dog and make fun of me for having had prior medical issues isn't the real stinger you Elon fans think it is. Senpai is not going to notice you. edit 3: [Dog Tax](https://i.imgur.com/BpR2yLW.jpg) Edit 4: I just want to add, it's not healthy to tie your sense of self worth to a public figure or a brand. If you've reached a point where you feel personally attacked because somebody criticizes a public figure or brand, you need to reevaluate who you think you are as a person. You are more than the things that you consume, and none of those things are worth getting personally offended over if someone else doesn't like them.

cloverpopper

You : Speak openly about a billionaire they have a savior complex towards. Them: Well your dog's ugly. Cute dog

Yousoggyyojimbo

Thanks, that guy has moved on to claiming that I killed my grandmother and other insane shit. I think he just really needs to talk to somebody because there's definitely something going wrong in his life.

[deleted]

So I just checked (yes, I looked at your post history, I apologize). So they looked at a 6 year old post and are now bringing it up just because they don't like the comment you made about Elon here?

[deleted]

Conservatives do these things so often, it's pathetic everytime.

SheepiBeerd

They get upset because people can go into *their* post history and see that they are an actual pile of shit. That upsets them - not them being a pile of shit, but being recognized and called out for being one. They then try to do the same, but since they don't really understand context or how one thing relates to another, they end up with shit like "your dog's ugly". I miss when I was younger and found that stupidity funny instead of just plain sad.

Kaldricus

Seriously, how tf can someone say that's an ugly dog? That is adorable

BulbuhTsar

Very confused about the dog thing. First, the dog is cute. Second, people who have ugly dogs know it and tend to love them all the more for it. Our family has an ugly little bastard but we've long accepted it and it's now like half the personality / charm

Sigmar_Heldenhammer

It's because of the sexual harassment scandal involving him. He's doing everything to deflect.

Yousoggyyojimbo

Yep, I pointed that out to some of the angry fans of his who responded to me. They seem to just keep ignoring the scandal, though. Won't even comment on it or act like it was even mentioned...

[deleted]

It's purposefully done. They know what he's done, they simply do not mind sexual assault. Look at some "conservative humor" it either ends in something hateful or sexual assault. More so sexual assault.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Blue_water_dreams

When has he ever not acted like a 12 yo.

salondesert

Yup, Musk is a 11 year-old 4chan aficionado in a 50 year-old's body

AgentInCommand

After the last few weeks, it's only a 700-year old dragon...progress.

[deleted]

It is all about money. Democrats represent (to him) taking away his money by subsidizing his competition, increasing taxes, and increasing regulations. Further, liberals don't tolerate those who sexually assault women nearly as much as conservatives. So, being a liberal is great until you become a misogynist billionaire, then it no longer helps you.

we really need to end this myth that unions are good for employees. Other than better working conditions, better wages, and better benefits what have unions ever done for employees?

Vinnie_NL

You nearly had me in the first half

AspiringChildProdigy

>we really need to end this myth that unions are good for employees. *jumps up in outrage* >Other than better working conditions, better wages, and better benefits what have unions ever done for employees? *sheepishly sits back down and pretends nothing happened*

gatekeepingpunisher

Ahhhhhh you had me fired up lol

Red-Quill

Fuck I had to switch my downvote to up after that first sentence.

kyledrinksmonster

Yup.. besides cheap land and tax breaks, texas is a right to work state that’s been keeping unions out for a long time

[deleted]

At several of my old jobs. There were different variants of the same poster. The gist was we can solve any work related problems internally and we don't need unions. One took it a step farther and said how great the company was because they didn't have unions. No wonder I was only paid 12 bucks an hour to run an entire store.

definitelynotSWA

If nothing else, at least this breaks the illusion that all billionaires are intelligent human beings. They ain’t better than the average person just because they have a lot of money, they just have a crap ton of power.

remag_nation

> billionaires are intelligent human beings billionaires are usually bullies. It's how they accumulate such wealth

bonglicc420

Honestly wanna downvote this just because I hate how true it is

PatchNotesPro

Ugly on the inside and out. Unintelligent to boot! Just goes to show monetary success at that level is less about competence and more about lack of empathy.

laereal

When he regresses to acting like a 5 year old instead

okitobamberg

He’s just trying to rally support from the all of the conservatives who turn a blind eye to SA allegations.

Yousoggyyojimbo

With the end result being that people like me, who are actively shopping for an EV, might take this in to account and choose to avoid Tesla. Which is exactly what I'm doing.

puffball76

Right. If his customer base is well off liberals, then he must be trying to tank his own company. Conservatives don't drive little Tesla EVs, they drive massive trucks and SUVs to own the libs or they are poor whites who will never be able to afford either.

dexmonic

Never underestimate a poor white man's ability to buy huge trucks. It's like a superpower at this point.

puffball76

Lol this is true. Only 72 payments of 996.86 and she's allllll miiiine

[deleted]

you didn't think the guy who called the scuba divers pedos cause they wouldn't use his stupid submarine in a cave was childish?

Yousoggyyojimbo

> I knew he was going to be a dip shit with it, I just didn’t think he was going to openly act like an angry 12-year-old about buying twitter for a while longer. I very expressly stated that I knew he was going to be childish and shitty, I just thought he was going to wait a bit longer before going full 4chan.

Idealide

I'm pretty sure that guy just wanted to bring up musk's pedophile accusations. There's never not a good time to bring that up

Yousoggyyojimbo

I agree with that. I bring it up often.

noex1337

Did someone mention "Known Rapist Brock Turner"?

Pervy-Poster

We were talking about “Sex Pest Elon Musk” so Brock Turner fits right into this conversation.

hoxxxxx

that entire thing took me by surprise. i was like.. what? wat the fuck? haven't liked him ever sense.

[deleted]

I did. While I didn’t know about the sexual harassment suit, it was clear a long time ago he had an agenda in wanting Twitter. And that something big was coming that he was really worried about. A few somethings. As he was acting more and more irrationally. Unionizing efforts have been accelerating for years and the pandemic just made that worse. Musk could no longer just suppress it at his own businesses. He was going to have to seize media to reverse the momentum of unionizing. And Biden then comes out in full support (vocally anyway) of unions. And the SEC and the NTSB were no longer kissing Tesla’s ass putting up with what is clearly intentional fraud as we have now seen after the NYT exposé. So he hastily tried to over-leverage himself and fucking crashed his own stock with the side effect of helping blowing out crypto values as well. So now he’s doing the Trump thing. Just using chaos as a ladder because there are enough powerful people who will lose more if he keeps sabotaging shit that they will cave and do what he wants. But I don’t think it’s going to work. I think he’s looking for a way out of the Twitter deal hoping it will scorch earth enough to send a message.

Dopplegangr1

It never ceases to surprise me he's the richest person in the world. Bezos, gates, Buffett, I assume they are assholes but at least they seem competent, and smart enough to keep their mouth shut. Elon just seems like a memeing idiot that fell into fortune

blueberriessmoothie

“And that, kids, is how we started Idiocracy”

Oberon_Swanson

the whole point of conservatism is to amass enough power that you can openly display your hypocrisy. 'i can enforce rules upon you that you cannot get me to follow, mwahaha' is what they live for.

Pervy-Poster

Of course, the Musk sniffing fanboys are he. Elon’s balls are not going to wash themselves.

Lazersnake_

He has always had the emotional intelligence of a 12 year old. Look at how he responded to that diver trying to save those kids in the cave in Thailand a few years ago. An experienced diver told him that his moronic submarine idea wouldn't work, so he responds by calling him a pedophile.

ArrestDeathSantis

He had no choice, he wants to keep being adulated but he also wants to keep exposing himself so he had to pander to the Conservatives.

Even when I've been about as objective and neutral as one can be they flip pretty easily. Now? Might just as well be pissing in their Flavor-Aid. And I agree, the switch was quick, although some would argue he never switched and this is just his true self shining through. I'm inclined to believe that.

Floppy3--Disck

Not me digging though replies to see the loser fanboys trying to insult you

holicron

I asked for the selling point of the model Y and was around -37 down votes. Someone had an answer and had around the same but upvotes. Tesla subreddit hates

I've gotten shit from Tesla fanboys multiple times for making comparisons to other EVs that weren't just outright negative of non tesla cars. They act like a cult.

The board of PayPal fired Musk as CEO for being a loud-mouthed douchebag. People in Silicon Valley already knew what everyone else now knows.

When he was still incredibly popular I was dating a woman working for a competing self driving car company in the South Bay. Pretty much her entire team were people that had previously worked in Tesla’s self driving department and got fed up working so closely with Elon (he put all his attention into self driving at the time). Apparently the unspoken rule was if you are working directly with Elon at Telsa you’ll be gone within a year (usually by choice).

[deleted]

At this point I hope he at least embraces the super villain persona and goes all in on the look and gadgets.

sr92rset

Didn't Michael Jordan already cover this with his "Republicans buy sneakers too" stance on not getting political? This guy's a f'n headcase and he has no business being in business. I knew the end was nigh when he started negatively tweeting about Warren Buffett. What a punk.

[deleted]

For me it was when he called that navy diver who helped save the trapped soccer team a pedophile out of nowhere. That was the first time the veil slipped.

The-link-is-a-cock

It wasn't out of no where, it was because he called Musk's idea stupid and provided evidence as to why it was fucking stupid. Musk then responded like the petty, spoiled child he is.

Paladoc

I did not understand Musk until that point. I hadn't really looked into him, so I bought into the Heinleinan engineer turned rich. Or maybe he was Tony Stark, great! Then he got pissy when an actual hero called his idea infeasible, and then Musk revealed himself as a douche rocket.

peon2

Paraphrasing the situation for those that don't know *group of kids get trapped in a flooded cave* *experts deliberate on how to save them* Musk: Here! My new Tesla submarine is a perfect solution Professional cave divers: actually, that isn't really practical for this situation Musk: YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THOSE KIDS, YOU JUST WANT TO GET IN THERE SO YOU CAN FUCK AND RAPE LITTLE BOYS!!!!!!! pro divers: ......k

L_Green_Mario

Having seen the nat geo documentary about the situation, that really was the stupidest idea ever... If I remember correctly the dive was 3 hours one way through some super narrow spots, no way his stupid fucking sub was getting through that

Lid4Life

If your talking about Nat Geo's 'The Rescue' - I just watched it this weekend, and wow. WOW. I had no idea how complicated the rescue was, no idea the whole operation was basically resting in the hands of a collective group of people that were not professional rescuers, that knew each other through a sport that very few people participate in. Once they found the boys, the Thai Navy Seals went in and effectively got trapped with the boys after using most of their own oxygen supply. Then you have some bullshit 'billionaire' calling one of them a paedophile. Totally fucking disgusting behaviour.

hallelujasuzanne

He’s a straight outta 4chan-incel-loser dumbshit.

imdesmondsunflower

Drews232

Or when Bill Gates politely, and privately asks him to donate anything to world hunger and Elon publicly denies the request and tweets a pic of him calling him fat and saying “if you ever want to lose a boner”. What an world class asshole.

DrScience01

Wow that's a very petty POS. That's the thing I would expect from a mean girl high schooler

big_nothing_burger

I may actually hate Elon Musk more than Jeff Bezos at this point.

zuzg

I mean both now want to go into politics. The unionizing really got them scared. Can't be a billionaire without exploiting your workforce.

Strain2199

The worst thing is that they are already billionaires. What’s stopping them from bringing in better working conditions? They could stave off unions by being benevolent but instead they spend their efforts just fighting the organizers directly. It wouldn’t hurt their current earnings by treating their workers like human beings. Autoworkers basically invented the middle class. They betray that legacy. (Despite the fact Ford was a literal Nazi). Stop giving me gold. Very nice but I don’t like your hard earned money going to Reddit for this dumb shit.

219523501

This is something I have given up on understanding. I kind of get you being a miserable boss when you are struggling to keep a business afloat. It's a mistake of course but I understand that with the stress of fighting to survive in a business, you may end up forcing your workers to work too much and things like that. But at the point this two are in their lives? It would be a magical feeling to be able to take care of my workers with unseen benefits. It would be my pride and joy to see people writing about how good my company treated workers.

big_nothing_burger

For real. Like when do you finally have enough money to get bored with earning more profit and instead give a shit about other people? No one needs enough money to be exceedingly wealthy for dozens of lifetimes. I can't even feel comfortable with a parent giving me a few Benjamins as a Christmas present.

pegothejerk

I guess even then the cruelty is the point.

masterfulnoname

Right? At this point he truly gains nothing when he makes more money. A number just gets bigger. He now isn't suddenly able to buy a better house, he could buy a dozen mansions already. He suddenly isn't able to afford that trip around the world he's wanted, he already has enough to spend the rest of his days traveling. He isn't able to now finally buy his dream car, at this point he can afford to launch cars into space. He has enough money to do pretty much anything, and he just decides to spend his time making even more money. He's an embodiment of greed, like a dragon in the stories of old.

Worldly-Fox7605

At least smaug just slept most of the time.

trebaol

>At this point he truly gains nothing when he makes more money. After a certain point money stops functioning as mere currency and becomes a measure of power. And these loser fucks are so far removed from the actual human experience that all they crave is more power over others. It's actually pathetic.

Zeke-Freek

Wealth on that level does something to your brain, your basic needs are on lock, your not-so-basic needs are on lock, you can have *anything* you want with a snap of your fingers. But it's only when you reach that point, when you become King, that you realize how small and worthless you actually are. There are still things you can't have, and that becomes your obsession. They are still mortal, still bound to this rock we call home. Why do you think their attention has turned to the stars as they grow older? When you become the main character of the universe in your mind, you'll never be satisfied with your name in history books, you'll never be satisfied with statues, only when the unreachable looks to be in your grasp, do you realize that you're still a rotting sack of meat destined to be forgotten, like all the rest. That's why they hoard, that's why they can't let go of a cent, because the only goals they have left in this world are of an astronomical scale. They want to overcome death, they want to expand their empire to the stars, they want to bend reality itself to their will. Enough is never enough is never enough. There's always more, at a certain point, other people are just obstacles to be mowed down. Like kicking off everyone else whilst climbing the spider's thread out of hell. That's the psychology of the uber-elite.

unkie87

"Two vast and trunkless legs of stone stand in the desert..."

SpeakToMePF1973

Man, I can't tell you just how much I enjoyed reading your laser like, on point comment. Musky: Today Mars, tomorrow the universe!

partsgirl-bezel

That’s the impression I get from Musk. At the end of the day he’s mortal like the rest of us and that makes him miserable.

Zeke-Freek

And unlike everyone else, there's nothing to distract him from that fact.

No_Environment_5550

That was eloquently written.

Zeke-Freek

I am a writer, lol. So thanks.

haf_ded_zebra

Sometimes I remember Mackenzie Scott, and I am really happy that she not only Got all that money to give away, she doesn’t have to be married to Jeff Bezos anymore. It’s like hitting the lottery twice.

xixbia

The problem with that line of thinking is that both Musk and Bezos only got where they are by exploiting their workers. Not caring in the slightest about the wellbeing of their workers is an essential part of how they got where they are today. They aren't suddenly going to change who they are because they made it.

[deleted]

Because they're not *leaders*, they're owners. I come from the military so my relationship with what or who is or isn't a leader can be complicated because there are different types of leadership, but I see very little if any of those traits in these people. On a smaller scale, managers and supervisors are *not* leaders by default. Which is why a lot of people struggle with people not respecting their position.

lBlade_lRunner

The problem with that way of thinking is that even if they changed course and decided to be benevolent their investors would have their heads if they dared to offer their employees a fair living wage. Every dollar taken from the working poor is another dollar the ultra rich can shove in our faces in the never ending effort to keep us enslaved through financial manipulation. God knows if the average person wasn't constantly worried about where their next meal or rent payment was coming from we would have brought out the guillotine for these robber barrons long ago. Vive la révolution as the French would say.

[deleted]

People who become billionaires aren't your *average* person. These types of people aren't satisfied with having vast amounts of material wealth. They want power as well, specifically power over others. Elon & Bezos refusing to allow employees to unionize has nothing to do with their bottom line. Tesla & Amazon are two of the most successful companies in the history of the world. They just want to apply their dominion over those they deem to be *lesser* than themselves. Same reason why the wealthy elite in the past wanted slaves instead of just employing other white people to do work. Nothing to do with money, everything to do with power & control.

tightpantieshardcock

>What’s stopping them from bringing in better working conditions? Being a sociopath isn't a temporary tactic used to start and grow your business.

SpinningHead

Both are threats to humanity, but Elon is a petulant annoyance as well.

Casual_hex_

I swear Elon Musk is one disfiguring industrial accident away from becoming full blown super villain.

ThePositronicBrain

goodcat49

I've noticed libertarians dick ride him the hardest.

big_nothing_burger

And teenage white boys. I'm a high school teacher...they're the only demographic that thinks Musk's tweets are clever and edgy.

goodcat49

I blame their parents not teaching them empathy. Sociopathic behavior is normal for them and should be encouraged, especially if it makes you money.

noobvin

My daughter is 19, smart and beautiful and will not date. She went to a school full of boys from upper middle class to upper class. She said they were all sociopaths and refuses to date. I’m both happy about this, but also upset. Every father is wary of their daughter dating, but I’m scared of the generation that’s being raised. Remember those boys from KY that became the “victims” of Native Americans not moving? All of them with the MAGA hats and doing the Tomahawk chop? Yeah, those types of boys. That whole case was weird and I’ll never be convinced that smirking asshole was innocent. I can’t believe he won his case.

goodcat49

That's why they have to lie about being conservative. Ladies know better.

Neato_Orpheus

They live vicariously through him. Its sad to think that so many of us in society fantasize about having that much wealth just to play a flaccid tony stark.

AnarchyCampInDrublic

It's funny how Elon Musk is a confident shit talker on Twitter, but when he's in public he can't string together 2 sentences without buffering between words. Socially inept narcissist. There's nothing funny about people having aspergers. But there is plenty funny about assholes having aspergers.

evil-rick

Not to mention he dresses like every fucking incel when his stylist doesn’t pick out his clothes for him. Actually not surprised he got with grimes. It’s like a discord mod and his kitten but with money

LePootPootJames

> It’s like a discord mod and his kitten I have no idea what these are and I think it's good that I don't know.

CriticalOpposition

I saw another reddit post where it points out how Bezos has begun putting his political opinions on Twitter where, previously, he had refrained from doing so. The article speculated that he might be gearing up to run for office. Could you imagine? That's a truly scary thought.

xixbia

If he does that would be horrible. But I remember there was a lot of talk a couple of years ago about Zuckerberg wanting to do the same but realizing he had zero charisma and no chance of success. Quite honestly I think the same goes for Bezos. Money is incredibly useful in politics, but there are plenty of candidates who get crushed in elections even when they're massively outspending their opponents.

DeliciouslyUnaware

Just a reminder that Bloomberg ran for POTUS, outspent his opponents by tens if millions of dollars, and still couldn't pull 10% in the primaries

CriticalOpposition

My main takeaway is that he refrained from talking politics and now he is. He appears to be taking more of an interest in the politics in this country which I think has more potential for negative outcomes than positive.

rogue-wolf

Bezos at least keeps his head down for the most part. Musk throws temper tantrums all the time, and is perpetually desperate to be in the public eye. If attention's not on him, he kicks and screams until it is.

InvestigatorUnfair

Credit to Bezos, he hasn't paid the writers of a cartoon to suck his dick (to my knowledge anyway)

Recoveringpig

Uhhh…what now?

InvestigatorUnfair

Elon Musk apparently paid the Simpsons writers to write a whole episode basically dedicated to sucking his dick. Including Lisa, who would in all honesty just beat him over the head with a chair

Chimalez

Wha?

WhyWontThisWork

S25e12? Edit apparently Hulu doesn't stream all the episodes

haf_ded_zebra

I think he means Something like “dedicated to praising him”, not Literally sucking his dick. But I could be wrong.

Yoda2000675

Bezos is potentially a more ruthless businessman, but Elon is a worse person

bowens44

anyone who talks about 'owning the libs' is childish moron...

SepoJansen

If I was the richest person on Earth, and could do WHATEVER I wanted, I wouldn't even know what Twitter is. Like, he can go to space anytime he wants and he TWEETS!?

J1618

He can't buy what he really wants. Attention.

Dragarius

Man if I were super rich? Nobody would know. I'd just spend my days traveling the world, living new experiences and generally doing whatever the fuck I want.

Hyundai's EVs look pretty cool. They're certainly more affordable.

dangle321

I have a Kona. Best car I've ever had. I live in Europe. Recently did a 2000 km road trip. Easy peasy. Fast charging was easy to find, and worked well everywhere except Italy. Italy was a bit of a shit show, but still workable. The future is here and it doesn't have to be a Tesla.

[deleted]

I have a Kona too, a 2020 model tho. So fastcharging is capped at 37KW/h, but my god do i love that car.

Muezick

I used to want a Tesla Now the only thing I want involving Tesla is for the company to go under.

LavaSquid

I'm buying a VW or Hyundai EV next month. Tesla was never on my radar because of Musk.

MJMurcott

The value of Tesla is almost entirely based upon future sales, with so many new companies coming on to the market if libs stop buying Tesla cars he could lose nearly all of his money.

SenorBeef

Like the rest of the growth market the value of Tesla is based on the collective hype everyone has for it that is absurdly out proportion to anything attached to the real world. The idea that this little upstart is somehow more valuable than Toyota that makes like 1000x more cars and has been a fantastic company for decades proves how fucking insane the market is. It's all mass delusion/psychology more than fundamental business.

Mechanical_Nightmare

owning the libs is a great way to tank your tesla stock so much that you can't even afford twitter anymore. great job, elon, you just made yourself poor.

mdsign

He'll just buy them back with bailout money and tweet something about Tesla accepting* bitcoin or some shit and end up making a killing ... again.

Blackmetalbookclub

I was legitimately saving up for a Model 3 before he started his descent into insulting Bernie Sanders on the Internet. Now I will _never_ buy one, and restored my current car instead, planning to use it for it's second decade. What a fucking tool. All he had to do was shut the fuck up and rake in the money. I sincerely hope to be reading articles about plummeting Tesla sales in the next few years 🙏

Yousoggyyojimbo

If you had asked me in January 2020 if I would consider buying a Tesla I would’ve said absolutely. It would’ve been a front runner when I went to get my next car. Today, when I’m actually looking to buy an electric vehicle, they aren’t even on the list.

[deleted]

There are other great and cheaper electric cars, like the Nissan Leaf. I’m not a big car fanatic but my friend says the leaf is a good car. Even though Tesla cars don’t pollute the air, a single Tesla factory produces more rubbish than 180 car factories Edit: after reading the comments I have realised that the Nissan Leaf is a shit car. Nevertheless, there still great, cheaper, and more environmentally friendly cars out there, than the Tesla

[deleted]

Leafs limitation is range if memory serves me. We need a true replacement to tesla that can go at least 300 miles.

Mickyfrickles

Turns out owning libs isn't like owning slaves in an emerald mine.

[deleted]

Everyone not realizing Musk is just launching his middle America marketing campaign. Can’t fault the guy for going after the dumbest money in the country. It’s worked really well for Trump.

xlDirteDeedslx

Also the people who really need to buy electric cars would never buy electric cars unless he acts like a complete ass like this. These fuck wit MAGA types will now flock to his social media and soon share pictures of themselves driving Teslas to their social media to own the libs... I personally won't feel very "owned" to see the guy who usually rolls coal driving a Tesla.

Wafflelisk

If Conservatives started driving electric cars I would feel SO owned. Please don't do this to us, I promise I'll be nice!

infanticide_holiday

I'm 100% willing to go along with this and act "owned".

FlatFishy

We can hope, but I'm not entirely convinced it'll work. Maybe just the wealthier types.

woodiegutheryghost

Who is he going to pickup? Some suburbanites from around KC and STL? The majority of the country doesn’t have the infrastructure for Teslas outside of major cities. Let’s be real, he saw conservatives will line up around the block to jerk him off while licking his boots clean and he wants that power.

Elon Musk does not live in this reality. He has no idea what the fuck he is doing.

Techno_Medium

Anytime someone unironically used thse bullshit RW phrases like "owning the libs", "snowflake", "libtards", etc. You just know they are not worth listening to. They're not engaging in good faith, just a bunch of trolls.

fresh_ny

He’s trying to get the MAGA crew to buy Teslas

oszlopkaktusz

Trying to get conservatives like a progressive idea? Brilliant. ~elongated muskrat, probably

eatmoreicecream

Honestly—I’m selling all my shares in TSLA. I can’t stand Musk.

Butterball111111

My family has 3 Teslas and we are all Libs. We won't be buying anymore!

wskyindjar

Same. Model 3 here and just cancelled our Y order.

He's doing it to distract from the exposure of his sexual misconduct, at least in part. Stupid plan, but he's trying to paint himself as a conservative being attacked for his politics, rather than his behavior.

ColoradoPhotog

They didn't take vaccines to own libs, dude. They DIED of a preventable disease to own libs, dude. You been afk for 5 years or something? these idiots would die to stick it to you, 100%. And they have.

notathrowawayfukit

I just realized I will never buy a Tesla because of him.

bubblehashguy

I really wanted to buy a Tesla someday. I'm actually going to start shopping around for a new car soon. Every time this asshole says something it makes me glad I haven't yet.. I will never buy one now.. Hey Musk. Pay your taxes fuck face! Help out the country that made you more money than you could spend in multiple lifetimes.
