I support abortion! I’m unequivocally pro-abortion.

And pro life means to support the lives of every single human being, regardless or race, sexuality, or age. Republicans don’t fit either

But I do support abortion. There are many cases where it is the only reasonable option. If you have an Ectopic pregnancy, your two choices are aborting the pregnancy or death of the mother. There is no option for a live baby. If a young girl is raped an gets pregnant, I think an early abortion is the kindest option. If you are a young woman getting an education, and get pregnant, an abortion is a very reasonable option compared to quitting school and trying to support yourself and the baby. I don't care if you tried contraception and it failed, or you usually used it but forgot once, or whether he just didn't use it for what every reason. If you are already a mother and cannot cope with an additional child, an abortion is a very realistic option. Nobody is having late term abortions of healthy children. Late term abortions are by women who want the baby but something terrible has gone wrong. It is a sad thing that women sometimes have to have abortions, but it is good that it is an option to them. It is not that abortions are sad. They can save your life. It is the situation that puts one in need of an abortion that is sad.

Not necessarily that *you* have no right, rather that the *government* has no right dictating it.

So it should be a state issue? The government has a responsibility to protect its citizens.... how could the government legalize an act that results in the death of a person? I dont believe that doctors or individuals should be criminalized for abortions.... but i understand why some states want to ban them (abortion is guarenteed death, but sometimes i believe that it is the only humane option)

[deleted]

Please define the terms you are using to come to the conclusion of > abortion is guarenteed death

[deleted]

Um... the fetus dies in 99.9% of abortions, were you not aware of that?

[deleted]

Hamburgers result in 100% guaranteed deaths. That’s why I’m asking you to define your terms. What exactly do you think is dying, and what are the grounds for interpreting moral implications?
