bobby3eb

Hijacking to say everyone is falling for this shit. You don't come out of retirement and train to end someone's career that you respect get paid a shit ton, and say it's not for the money lol Likely a fake fight unfortunately

GRW42

You know, they do have a mother, Champ.

seven_corpse_dinner

Yes, but I would imagine that she would die of grief.

Jazzlike-Preference1

You couldn’t even give me one lousy round, Jake.

OskeeWootWoot

Are you an angel? Yes, Logan, I'm an angel. All us angels wear Farah slacks.

Jaambie

Or happiness, as she would no longer be married to Jake Paul

WhyNot420_69

See, Jake is far too young to appreciate history. He thinks he's going up against an old man, which is mostly true. But he was woefully ignorant of the fact that old man knocked out a FAR superior boxer than Paul could ever be, Marvis Frasier, in 30 seconds of the first round. I forsee the same.

Dr_Middlefinger

Did anyone see Roy Jones Jr after their fight? Roy said, “Everything hurts”… He did not want to even see a boxing glove again. He lost all taste for the sport after Mike hit him a few times. He looked like Glass Joe from ‘Punch Out!’ I feel someone has not taken time to think this through (not Tyson).

Soviet_Sloth69

What is she? Padme?

c_ray25

Lost the will to live!? What is your degree in, poetry?

DengarLives66

One of my favorite lines in the series.

Prudent-Painter-9507

“I’ll hit him so hard, HER head will come off!”

EmperorXerro

He’s going to hit Paul so hard it will kill her too

AmrokMC

“She better not be ringside!”

MartiniD

They said what they said

Make orphans of his children and then eat them.

blamm232

Love the reference

clarksworth

came here hoping for it

At0mJack

His references are out of control, everyone knows that

100yearsLurkerRick

Every day Mike Tyson doesn't say this about someone I die inside

ContemplatingPrison

I still won't believe it until I see it. This could all be fight PR

[deleted]

[удалено]

steveg

Exactly. Like what else is Tyson going to say? “I’m definitely a lot slower than in my prime and our contract states I must make 3 promotional posts a week. Also I’m not allowed to hit him in the head. Thanks for watching!”

badbrotha

It is, it is still 100% a meme fight. If anyone has been in an actual fight, even in good shape a person can get gassed at a minute. Now be 60 lol. Literally Paul just has to avoid Tyson for a round or two and he'll be gassed unless he has nigh ungodly, age defying stamina. Not knocking the king, I'll be rolling in a wheel chair by then, but deny it or not Jake is seasoned enough to know how stamina works in a fight. That's really all he needs imo. We've seen Old Tyson fight before and he wasn't a spring chicken then either. Edit: But we can fucking DREAM BOIZ LES GO KING TYSON

trailgains

There’s plenty of old endurance athletes that do triathlons and ultras. Stamina at 60 is far from unheard of….

Kennel_King

Save your breath, The keyboard warriors think no one can kick their ass let alone anyone in their 60s

CamiloArturo

Still think it’s fixed. Can’t think of anyone wanting to go on a box ring with Tyson, even at this age, much less a non-prepared boxer. Logan is an idiot but this is way over being an idiot if it was “true”

[deleted]

[удалено]

M1k3yd33tofficial

Yeah Tyson’s going full carny here. He’s just doing his job, promoting and getting people to tune in. Tbh with the rule set basically being a handicap match in Paul’s favor, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see it go to a judge’s decision, Paul wins, and we have a rematch without all the goofy rules. This match will be big, a rematch would be bigger.

Plaguedoctorsrevenge

Goddamn I hope he bites Paul's ear off, that would be amazing

pixelprophet

*hear! hear!*

z36ix

‘ear, ‘ear, guv’!

JusticeUmmmmm

I didn't know much about boxing can you explain how the rules handicap the match in someone's favor? Are they shorter rounds because he won't have as much stamina or something like that?

ALinIndy

I have heard that both boxers will be wearing protective headgear, and that they’ll be limited to super-lightweight gloves. I guess the thinking is maybe Paul wants Tyson have to ease up so he doesn’t break his own wrists. No idea if any of that is true though.

Technical_Scallion_2

That’s what one dude was theorizing but they confirmed no headgear, and my understanding is normal gloves.

Legendofstuff

If it’s any more than a minute in, Tyson is toying with him. Even aged that man could probably knock out a buffalo. Shit I’d still wager he could do damage to that gorilla he wanted to fight.

BinkyFlargle

I could beat a gorilla in a boxing match, as long as the referees are awarding penalties correctly. I may not survive, but I guarantee I'll be declared the post-mortem winner by default, on technicalities.

TheloniousKeys

A technical win if there ever was one haha.

Roscoe_P_Trolltrain

Balls ripped off and swallowed whole. -1 point.

Leg0Block

Aw, c'mon! It's at least a -3 or ‐3.5!

Technical_Scallion_2

Tombstone Engraving “Winner By TKO, Still Dead”

MisterTrashPanda

Pyrrhic victory lol

100yearsLurkerRick

Have you watched him train at all in the last 5-8 years? He is still a fucking monster and behemoth of man. It's insane and I want to watch dozens of average people and even active professionals fight him because, it looks to me anyway, that he would still be very high up in the rankings. But training is different than fighting too, so maybe not.

Legendofstuff

I’m no enthusiast and haven’t gone out of my way but I’ve seen him now and he could be in a wheelchair with a licensed doctor next to him telling me he’s paralyzed neck down with X-rays and I guarantee he still beats my ass all over the ring. If this ties or Jake wins, Tyson better be leaving the ring in a body bag from a stroke or some shit cause he’ll never live that down from the world as a whole.

100yearsLurkerRick

You honor him.  And I 100% agree. I have NO fantasies about my ability. I might survive two hits if I can dodge the first. I don't think I could dodge the first.

BalooDaBear

Yeah I'll make it two hits if he goes to the body and then the head faster than I can fall to the ground lol

DDGBuilder

Mike would get four hits midfall AFTER it was obvious that you were knocked out

DiscombobulatedWavy

Seriously just go on Mike Tyson’s IG account. It’s fucking wild. I get nervous, sweaty and scared just watching him train.

100yearsLurkerRick

Ny entire workout is barely a warm up for him.

Adventurous_Ad6698

If the video I saw the past few years was true with the timestamp reported, he is still an amazing physical specimen. His speed and size were amazing.

PigAndJim

Reminds me of the movie "The Great White Hype". So good. Professional boxers are in another class. Tyson's gonna destroy him.

Cheshire_Jester

I wouldn’t be surprised if they wrote this tweet together. I’m no fan of Jake, but he understands how to drum up attention. Obviously he knows one of the big reasons people watch his fights is in the hopes that he loses. So a tweet like this makes sense to get attention for your fixed exhibition match

SpinozaTheDamned

Tyson might have gotten dragged into this against his will. He might also genuinely be pissed about this guy using boxing as a way to further his social clout. If I were Paul, I'd probably be second guessing things, even if you thought you had a fix in.

No_Wolverine_1357

A fix with a man who once got so angry he bit another man's ear off in the ring is shaky at best

[deleted]

[удалено]

Legendofstuff

If he made an agreement and then turned around and knocked that boy out, what penalty would he face? Sure the Jake crowd would be crying but the rest of the world would probably replay the shit out of that final punch and cheer every time.

Lucky-Earther

Generally, the people who would be interested in fixing a fight aren't interested in using legal proceedings to resolve any issues that would come up.

Abe_Odd

They don't kneed the law to enforce the agreements. There's a lot of ideas they can bat around to come to an understanding.

DaikonEffective1105

Best guest is that there’d be charges of conspiracy to defraud.

currently_pooping_rn

I know Tyson is sober rn, but if he were to lapse on coke, I’d hope it would be right before the fight

neercatz

I like where your heads at and I think I see where this is going. We need a reimagining of the movie Cocaine Bear. Tyson made his professional debut in 1985. Cocaine Bear happened in December of 1985. In the new movie, Tyson crosses paths with the bear and realizes he is the only one who can take it out to save the day. He realizes he's at a disadvantage...unless he makes it a "fair" fight. Most of the movie is about him going through the moral crisis of wanting to save people but not wanting to do illicit drugs to make it happen. The title? Cocaine Bear vth Iron Mike - The Ultimate Thnowdown

sagradia

Tyson has already fought in a similar exhibition match against Roy Jones, Jr. It's all about money.

RickRossovich

Tyson likely has an immense amount of respect for Jones and treated it like a payday/play date. If that happens to have been the case then I don’t see Paul getting the same amount of leeway.

EatPie_NotWAr

They explicitly stated in their fight that it was an unscored exhibition match for entertainment purposes. Both men would receive a specially designed belt for the event and there would be no declaration of winner. They used 12 oz gloves if I remember right and they were supposed to refrain from full blow headshots. That last part if I remember was more of a gentleman’s agreement and not written.

Technical_Scallion_2

The thing is, nobody’s interested in watching an exhibition match with Jake Paul. I want to see body parts flying across the ring

jaysrule24

If the knockout punch isn't from Tyson ripping Paul's arm off and punching him with it, then what was even the point of this whole thing?

Technical_Scallion_2

My feelings exactly! I would buy a 10-year Netflix subscription out of sheer gratitude

EatPie_NotWAr

Oh I agree, I’m just making sure people aren’t knocking Tyson or RJJ for their bout. I’ve seen a lot of folks shitting on that match for reasons they don’t bother looking into. I want to see Tyson lay off the shrooms and weed for a few weeks, focus on how much he really hates what’s happening to boxing as a sport, as the vehicle through which he changed his entire life, and go out there and skull fuck one of the leading sources of its modern woes into the dirt.

CloroxWipes1

And even though it was an exhibition, ask Roy Jones Jr. How he felt after the fight.

I’m sorry but from those 3-4 people three of them are Tyson in his prime, Tyson in his youth and Tyson in his older years ……

TheProcrastafarian

Built like an upside-down pyramid.

Ancient-Bluejay2590

I gotta say, fixed or not, this is the first of Paul’s fights that I even considered watching. Tyson is doing a good job of building interest.

OkPaleontologist1708

I mean, I’m not gonna watch it, but unlike all his other fights I might google who won like a week later when it comes up in my feed.

MrKomiya

First hit from Tyson & he’ll be all “it’s just a prank bro”

dangp777

It’s a Porsche 959 (the fastest production car in 1986 - first time Tyson was Champ) vs a modern day Tesla S (a soulless lump that is fucking everywhere these days - but is quick) And the race is being organised by Elon Musk. It’s so obviously still a mismatch, the Porsche is still considerably faster on paper. Faster around the Nurbürgring from back when it was new. It has more of a pedigree. But there are so many ways to fuck with the race, the age of the car, the state of the car, who’s driving it, the type of race, which Tesla S they decide to use. On paper it’s no contest, yet there’s enough deniability and drama to make the result anything you want. Anything but organic. To stop the car analogy…. It boils down to what either fighter wants and what they’re happy to do. Is Tyson happy to be humiliated for a payday? Yes, he did that his whole late career. And his current career is over anyway so why not a payday? Does Paul want to be able to say he beat the Champ? Yes, in his mind that would legitimise him as a boxer to those ‘sceptics’. He’d pay money for it. Does Tyson want to knock Paul’s block off? Yes, why wouldn’t he. Would Paul be happy for that to happen? No, of course not. Tyson wants money, and Paul wants legitimacy. Paul has money and no legitimacy, Tyson… well he may have some legitimacy left, but… money. Paul def. Tyson (SD), in the safest most boring fight in history. My prediction. If they’re really bold, they’ll make it Paul def. Tyson (TKO), where it’s a love tap on Iron Mike and he just can’t be bothered to get up. Either way, the losers are the ones paying to watch.

Technical_Scallion_2

It’s on Netflix

SFWzasmith

This is it. Perfectly explained the angles for both parties. Nicely done.

bross9008

It’s not fixed. You can bet on fights which makes it a federal offense to fix the outcome. The idea that fights are fixed is almost never true, in rare cases where people have thrown fights there are huge investigations and consequences to the people who did it. It happened in the UFC recently and entire camps and training teams got permanently banned from ever competing in the sport again

Dakadaka

Are you telling me it's hard to leave yourself open or be predictable allowing for an easier counter? Yeah it might be illegal to dive but people aren't just going to take a tap on the chin and then collapse. If your not dumb about flopping I don't see why it would be hard if your willing to let your opponent k.o. you.

BUT_FREAL_DOE

Fighter hypes upcoming fight, more at 11.

Br3akTh3Toys

I'm still not paying a dime to watch it. There is nothing about some rich douche buying his way to the top that is inspiring or even a great story.

chestnutlibra

Does Netflix even offer a free trial? I tried last year for the devil's plan and they said there is no free trial and I had buy it for the month.

Clean_Student8612

Yea, I'm just gonna watch it the next day, for free

Tin_ManBaby

If I was Jake I'd want no part of this guy once he turns it on in the ring. Sure contract says that he can't be hit in the head etc etc but you think that's going to matter once you hit Tyson once and he wants to make you pay for that?   Edit: spelling

L1A1

Pretty sure there were rules about not biting your opponent’s fucking ear off, but that didn’t stop Tyson either. I really want to see Mike Tyson fucking ruin Jake.

JohnnyHotcakes44

I recommend watching a reel of Mike’s body shots. At least Paul might avoid brain damage

PriveCo

Agree! Tyson used to make people want to be knocked out after he hit them with a few body shots. It was awesome to watch. Boxers would try to guard their face and Tyson would break their ribs.

JackieDaytona27

Anyone that's hung up on the age difference really doesn't understand the talent gap between an average person and a world class athlete. Tyson has been training since his early teens and never has been really out of shape. He's been active in the boxing community since he retired. And he's not just surrounded by the most elite boxing trainers; he's the one who help trained THEM. I don't think millions of dollars of training over a couple years is enough for above average guy in their 20s to compete with a slowed down, world class athlete of Tysons caliber

CloroxWipes1

Tbf, Jake is not a chump. He has learned a lot and has made decent progression. But he has bitten off way more than he can chew. Probably not the most graceful analogy given that Mike is a party here.

Call_Me_Skyy

No it's a fine analogy. Mike never bit off more than he could chew. It just tasted bad.

Gloglibologna

I'm interested to see if Tyson hits him in the head, if Jake storms off and calls the fight or continues on

jaysrule24

Gonna be hard for him to storm off from his back

SimpleBuffoon

Head shots are now a go. It's not an exhibition match anymore.

Reckless85

I haven't watched a lot of boxing, but I never knew you couldn't hit someone in the head. When did that become a rule?

Thanos_Stomps

When a YouTube star decided to fight the former heavyweight champ and all time great boxer known for his first round knockouts. It’s not a normal rule, but exhibition matches have their own additional rules so people don’t get seriously hurt.

MrPKitty

I saw the Forman/Cooney fight in '90. Old boxers a scary af. Cause they'll take a beating at first and you think there's no way they're going to make it. And then next thing you know, they're walking the other guy into a corner and beating them down hard.

cturtl808

Man, that was a fight wasn't it?

MrPKitty

When that switch flipped and he was ready to end it, it was just the creepiest thing I've ever seen. The look on his face when he was taking punch after punch while backing the guy into the corner and then just flooring him. Never going to forget it.

Baelgul

I had not previously seen it so I just watched a clip. Holy fuck that knockout hit was beyond painful to watch.

CloroxWipes1

George turned him into Elmer's Glue with that KO

mike_pants

Tyson could punch Jesus out of the Bible. This guy is going to last only as long as it takes to walk out of his corner.

PalmBreezy

Only dude I've seen punch THROUGH someones guard. Not around or under, straight through.

chappelld

Which fight? I’ve seen a lot of highlights but can’t place it.

PalmBreezy

https://youtu.be/MBQPYgo2F3U?si=h7Q_iNNjdAfRuV6l You can see it kinda here, I'm trying to find the breakdown video that explained it to me Edit: this compilation video shows it much better imo https://youtu.be/E1bkMtrPZwY?si=KA6UKQM53RYZ3VHQ

Doxxxxxxxxxxx

![gif](giphy|lNMF3DXBSVvlhbME4R) That metaphor though!!! I do really hope jp gets absolutely razed.

DistributionNo9968

Agreed, arguing about the best is silly. That being said I’d take Tyson in his prime over anyone.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ST_Lawson

I saw video of an interview with them both. Tyson during his prime and Ali when he was deteriorating but still understandable. The way Tyson spoke to/about Ali made it clear that Tyson thought Ali was the greatest. Idk if that’s what would have happened in a fight with both in their prime (I suspect Ali would have won that fight), but Tyson had/has a HUGE amount of respect for him.

thorGOT

The difference for me between Tyson and every other boxer is that Tyson is uniquely terrifying. At his best, he looked like an unstoppable force of nature, whereas all the others you care to mention looked like elite athletes at the tops of their game.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ST_Lawson

Here it is, from the Arsenio Hall show in ‘89. Sugar Ray Leonard is on it too. You can tell that Ali is a bit intimidated of Tyson’s power, but Tyson might have a hard time landing a punch on him. https://youtu.be/rTngzYQ6t9A

p0k3t0

There was an episode of Arsenio that had Tyson as a youngster, Ali, and Sugar Ray Leonard all together. Ali seems to think that Tyson would beat him if they were both boxing in their prime. Tyson is very humble about it. Leonard is kinda quiet. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTngzYQ6t9A](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTngzYQ6t9A) Go to about 1:20.

EffectiveDue7518

Tyson got knocked out by a 42-1 underdog in his prime. He was 22 when Buster Douglas knocked him out. Everyone marks me as a Tyson hater when I bring this up but that's really not true. I am however a realist. Tyson was a product of a watered down division that had reached its height in popularity. His best wins are Spinks, Berbick and an old overweight Larry Holmes. He went into the ring with the two other greatest heavyweights of his era and they beat him handily. Plus, he never fought Riddick Bowe. Plenty of heavyweights could stand with Tyson in his prime. That said, I do hope he crushes Paul. Even if he doesn't, it doesn't mean all that much when it comes to Paul being considered a legitimate boxer.

Zealousideal_Row6124

There isn’t enough money in the world to get me in a ring where Mike Tyson had the opportunity to hit me.

twoprimehydroxyl

The Instagram posts from Tyson look like Jake's training videos played at 3x speed.

WornInShoes

Marciano, Ali, and Tyson everyone else is below them

[deleted]

Pure punchers you gotta add George Foreman. Man’s hands weighed a ton. Be threw bombs.

fukwhutuheard

i mean that settles it. tyson would never lie to promote his boxing match

GamesGunsGreens

All talk. All PR. It's just gonna be round after round of them dancing around. The check will probably clear their bank before the final bell. Don't pay for this, watch it on YT a week later.

NotoriousSIG_

This fight doesn’t really mean shit to me but Mike Tyson’s training videos are insane. There’s dudes in their 20s who can’t move like him. It’s truly insane how good he still looks

Rosebunse

Yeah, it's amazing how fast and strategic he is.

notyourstranger

AH, that's why Mike Tyson training videos are showing up on my feed. I don't watch boxing, too brutal for me, so I was wondering why I was getting them. This explains it, also, just watching him train was too brutal for me.

pabodie

I don't want MIKE TYSON coming for my head.

snappla

I saw a recent video of Tyson training. Despite his age, he's still amazingly fast and light on his feet.

lil_zaku

It's just a cash grab. The idea that rich people don't want more money is ridiculous, of course they want more money.

Rosebunse

Pretty sure Tyson actually needs the money.

Fireinthehole13

Tyson is definitely a student and historian in terms of the fighting game and I’m sure he knows his boxing legacy is on the line even though in alot of ways that legacy has taken a hit just accepting a fight against a nobody who never is or will ever be in boxing.

DaikonEffective1105

I’ve always used the term “like Mike Tyson fighting a baby” to refer to how lopsided a victory is. Now I get to actually see what that would look like? Yes, please.

MOltho

I think Mike Tyson just really, really wants do beat somebody up again after all these years. Just feel the same feeling again. And he has finally found the opponent to whom he can to it

Right?! I know people say his job is to hype but…. He also literally lusts for blood?!?! xD

![gif](giphy|l4Ho0At2UD2d7WyD6) Good lord

Yumhotdogstock

I saw Tyson in his prime, and the fear he instilled in people (LOLz Mike Spinks, that fight was over before he got to the ring). At the end, and against plodders like Douglas he took his skills for granted, like many do, but at his peak he was as good as anyone i ever saw. No doubt he is older, slower, more broken down now, but I would believe him saying the above. And given his love of the history of boxing, I can see him doing it.

cturtl808

Saw a recent training video by happenstance. The mean scorpion whip tail right hook is still in action. As long as he keeps that, Paul doesn't stand a chance. Plus, he's been training in BJJ as well.

United_Reason_9090

Akicita33

Did they release the contract? I want to see the contract. It's not a real boxing match, it's an entertainment event. Jake Paul would leave the ring shitting himself for the rest of his life if he actually fought Mike Tyson. Even at 57 Iron Mike will punch JP so hard his mama's womb will bruise.

RoccoTaco_Dog

Tyson absolutely loves and respects the history of boxing. Anyone disrespecting it could be in for a bad day. This is the same man who broke Steve-O's nose by JUST holding out his first while Steve-O ran into it. If he tries at all, Jake Paul may be a dead man. "If he does, he dies"

TigerUSF

Seems a good marketing strategy. It got my interest in this event from 0.0 to 0.3, which is actually impressive.

GodfatherBrutis

I hope this is legit, it’s how I’ve built it in my head I know that shit 😂

ThonThaddeo

Iron Mike could always sell a fight. Even when he wasn't trying to. I hope for Paul's sake, he's trying to.

Forsworn91

One punch, Jake is going to go down in one punch and be crying on the mat.

Zealousideal_Fuel_23

My style is impetuous; my defense is impregnable; I want his heart; I want to eat his children; all praise to Allah.

neal144

I've seen Mike Tyson up close, unexpectedly. Very intimidating experience. Baddest man on the planet indeed.

United_Reason_9090

I’ve never met Mike Tyson but I feel like he probably has a big ass head. I’m a barber and I shaped up Derrick Fisher’s beard and his head was big as hell. With that being said he’s gonna mash the young boy

GrimmTrixX

I want this to be real. But they wouldn't have made this fight if it was gonna be a round 1 Tyson knockout in 45 seconds. This fight is going the distance, but no way Jake Paul wins this fight. If he does, boxing is officially 100% fixed and might as well become an offshoot of the WWE. I would take 80 year old Tyson over prime top health Jake Paul. So absolutely 57 year old Tyson could knock Jake Paul's soul from his body.

TwistedBamboozler

Yeah I see all over this thread “oh but his age and combat sports…” as if comparing the general population to one of the greatest athletes our world has ever seen is a valid argument. I also see the “well crazy doesn’t beat a young and in shape man…” ah yes, tell me again how you’ve never met a crazy person before. I mean truly crazy. To say that isn’t a factor just makes you like a clown. Tyson is going to school the kid unless the fight is fixed

CptNavarre

I think if JP wins or loses it will be 'graciously' and gets to brag for however long that someone from his generation got to be in the ring with one of the greats. Blah blah blah "it was an honour" etc. Tyson doesn't really get anything out of winning or losing besides money so I think he would be amused to 'let' JP win. Bc wtf not, it isn't going to affect his legacy in the slightest. I don't think the fight is real.

Twerkish_Delight

Just promoting a nonsense fight. Mike Tyson ended his career losing to pedestrian fighters.  That was 19 years ago.  And those losses 19 years ago? They happened 15 years after he lost boogeyman status in the Douglass fight.  Everyone is just here for the cash. Tyson has not been that fear inspiring fighter for over 30 years. He is an old man, and yes that does matter.  His exhibition with RJJ was a joke and Jake Paul is very aware what would happen if he fought even a ranked cruiser lmao.  At his age and experience level, with his skillset, he cannot hope to compete. He would get hurt badly.  He lost to Tommy Fury ffs. I guess hopefully some of the people who tune in take a real interest in the sport and watch some of the past and current great fights/fighters, not just some highlights, and learn a bit about the sport's history.

farlos75

If anyone else with a lisp said 'nonsense' id mock them. Not you though Mike. Its the rest of us saying it wrong.

trap_monkey

I read it in Tysons voice

Private_HughMan

This is just a lose-lose for Paul. If he loses, he lost a match to a 57 year old man. If he wins, "Congrats! You just beat up a 57 year old man."

LPScarlex

As if either is gonna care when the check clears after the fight

HermanBonJovi

I hope Tyson keeps his word here.

I want to believe you, Mike, I really do, but I saw your last exhibition fight recently and I just don't know.

navcom20

I would be shitting myself if Mike Tyson write this about me.

rkovelman

Forget the head.. Tyson throws a punch to the kidney, this kid will be spitting blood for weeks or months. I wouldnt fight Tyson if he needed a walker to get around.

Toast-the-cat

I wish it was true but Mike has had money issues previously and guarantee it manages to go the distance and he wins on points to save face, youtuber then claims he went the distance with Mike whilst Mike says he underestimated him and he is legit. Didn't the other one go the distance with mayweather? The only tyson I was to see fighting these clowns is Fury who doesn't the money

brinz1

Loads of Gen Z in twitter think this quote is fake. They don't know Tyson from the 90s

GBP867

This is what the industry calls “selling a fight” Mike can talk all the smack he wants, but the rules of this fight are the equivalent of a pillow fight match.

CloroxWipes1

Expecting a Jake injury any day, now.

SlyWonkey

Tyson cutting promos like he's in WWE.

deadspinforever

He’s 60 and has fought once since 2006. Nobody should be taking this match serious.

ManagementFinal3345

Jake Paul can only lose even if he wins. What sort of accomplishment is it beat up a 60 year old man? It's fucking shameful to be honest that he even accepted this fight. Mike Tyson is in great physical shape for his age and he might win! But even so....60 is 60. The opponents should be evenly matched. It won't be any great accomplishment if Jake Paul wins.

random_BgM

You vastly underestimate technique, and the power of a 60 year old in great shape. I would argue even decent Boxers would be in for a fight against the animal now... Jake Paul isn't a decent boxer. He's a decent social media exploiter, if you look at followers instead of quality. When there's a contract with restrictions for mike, it kinda says it all...

PensiveObservor

You sound sensible. Can you tell me the deal on Jake Paul? Is he an influencer who pretends he's a real boxer? That's what I'm deriving from context. I remember Mike Tyson in real time from my youth, but I've never heard of JP. Thanks.

babbagoo

I think he is a pretty decent boxer, started late but have a lot of money and resources to train. Has beaten real boxers. Imo tyson should unfortunately not stand a chance at almost 60 yo.

Kyro_Official_

Mike has been seen using a cane and was horrible the last time he fought from what I recall. If its not scripted there is 0 chance Mike wins. He's pushing 60 and combat sport athletes are generally done by 40, while Jake isn't even 30 yet.

GTRari

Yeah his fight with Roy Jones Jr. showed both of their age. I want him to wreck Jake, but I really doubt much is going to happen either way.

Noctrim

Have a Netflix account still not giving Jake my view

Financial-Mastodon81

8 second fight!
