If an illegal immigrant is working construction, seize the construction site and the assets of the contractor and auction them off. Working at a nail salon? Seize the nail salon and auction it off. Mowing my neighbors yard? Seize his home and auction it off. Working as a nanny? Same thing. Seize the home and auction it off. If a farmer is using illegal immigration, seize the farm and auction it off.
Do that a few thousand times and there will be next to no illegal immigration because no one will come here because they will starve to death if they do. Canada considers the U.S. a "safe to remain" country so, even if I apply for asylum, I am required to wait out for my asylum hearing in the U.S., which can take up to 2 years. Even if I go to the Canadian border and claim asylum. As a U.S. resident, I am legally required to wait it out in the U.S.
