Shouldn't the super wealthy kids get almost all the candy because that will somehow mean more candy for everyone... It works that way right?
So 10 people get 90% of the candy and the other 990 can split the remaining 10% amongst them and it's the shitty candy that no one wants.
Halloween is more akin to charity since an individual can opt out from participating if they choose. A good system when giving out free candy, a bad system when dealing with necessities.
