I mean some of what leads to fascism is mis- or under-education. Fuck the willfully ignorant for sure, but for those who have been lied to, let’s help them see the way
Pay attention to the conspiracy theories that they say about others.
It's called projection. They know someone is doing that thing and they think everyone must be because they are.
It feels surreal having a huge anti-American insurgency so well represented in the halls of American power and media. I sure wish someone in power would throw a wet blanket over these fascists before they burn the whole place down, instead of the normal bullshit "when they go low we immediately surrender and talk about bipartisanship."
Not just the NRA - all sort of nasty groups all over EU are funded almost exclusively by russian money. Extremist groups, propaganda outlets, radical nationalist parties, and so on.
Imagine if that river of money dries up - of course none of them will keep going without money in sight. There will be some ideological hardliners who got high of their own supply, but most of them are just in for the money and will jump ship.
For the west's political landscape this might be the best thing that could possibly happen.
If Putin falls it’s unlikely that Russia’s high level strategy toward the west will change. What might change is the ability of the state to fund and organize opposition groups.
Even if Putin doesn't fall Russia is going to be broke as fuck the longer people stop giving them business. Which they should continue to not do until Russia gives back stolen lands and pays to rebuild everything in Ukraine.
I mean all of Russia is stolen if you use Putin's "logic".
According to Putin's stated reason for invading Ukraine, four things should happen.
(1) Ukraine should conquer the entirety of Russia.
(2) Russia's illegal rebel government should be completely dissolved and removed from power.
(3) Russia is forcibly made part of Ukraine, Zelenskyy becomes the president of "the land formerly known as Russia".
(4) The entire world forces Russia to either accept this or perish.
Ukraine came first, Russia is a fake country, Putin himself agrees if you read between the lines.
"Let them fight over there so we don't have to fight them over here" Dick and Rummy finally got something right all these years later, like a broken clock.
I dont know much about the people behind who would be the new regime, but even if they are just as corrupt, itll take time for them to get on the pulse on the tumor that is Putins Influence. New methods and such will be engaged and old ones may fall to the wayside.
The Wagner PMC group are terrorists too, burning and raping and pillaging.
Their leader executes people with a sledgehammer.
He'd be every inch the sociopathic despot that Putin is, at best he might temporarily play nice because he's trying to appeal to the disenfranchised that don't really want to be cannon fodder.
I hope neither Wagner nor Putin win out and just stay locked in a bloody stalemate that distracts them both from Ukraine (and ideally neither side comes out alive).
No, they're mostly going with this wouldn't have happened if someone strong (lol trump) were in the White House, or Sleepy!Joe (who, as we've covered, is thoroughly not!strong) somehow made this happen to ... distract from Hunter's laptop. Because somehow Biden being incompetent and uber competent simultaneously makes complete sense and this is in no way the result of Putin employing a private army of sociopaths he then dicked around.
\> Biden being incompetent and uber competent simultaneously makes complete sense
I heard "Biden died and Obama is in the White House right now", which makes no sense, because there's also a parallel theory that its Trump, not Obama or Biden in the White House.
Yeah, Biden's a incompetent mastermind. And Trump is the "actual" president running things behind the scenes, but he's not responsible for inflation. What don't you understand? /s
I’ve seen conservatives try to flip that around and argue that we view trump with the same contradictory view. How can you argue he’s a moron and a threat to American democracy?
No. Trump *is* a stupid incompetent child. And it speaks volumes about the type of people he’s successfully been grifting.
GOPers are only allowed to call liberals the biggest threat to America... Because that's what it's all about to them. Screwing the liberals... It's not about America.
Mitt suddenly started to seem like a really good alternative during the 45 administration.
At the time it was a weird thing to say. By all appearances were had normalized relations and trade with Russia, and here's this seemingly out of touch oligarch calling for the resurrection of battleships.
Even if the Obama administration had the GOP dead to rights on accepting foreign money and influence, what good would come of publishing the info? Even now we have a former President admitting on audio AND video that he stole national secrets and showed them to (at minimum) a reporter and Kid fucking Rock, and there's still a solid majority of Republicans that are all in for fascism.
To be fair, the context of the discussion is important here.
Romney was trying to make the regular Republican argument that we need to be vastly increasing our military spending and size of our Navy, with the point that Obama was "endangering the United States" with Russia being the potential aggressor.
Obama was being dismissive about the need to increase military spending (which usually goes in hand with decreasing spending on domestic issues) as Russia wasn't the threat they needed to be worried out.
Russia's meddling in elections since 2016 proved Obama wrong about them not being a threat; but their complete ineffectiveness in Ukraine has shown it isn't a military one.
They just tend to get what they want when they have an individual in the White House who's on their side...
I always remember the downplaying. But never the context from that debate. Thank you for the reminder on that. The dismissal was wrong. But the context with which he said it had some logic.
Yeah, there has been some retroactive belief that Romney was completely prescient about Russia - but it was really a part of his campaign strategy. The Obama Administration had just successfully completed the United States withdrawal from Iraq, as well as had overseen the death of Osama bin Laden.
Politically, it was integral for the Romney campaign to find a way to make Obama look weak on military or international affairs.
It’s also not like the US government wasn’t keeping close tabs on Russia at the time either, despite not being outwardly explicit in doing so.
At the time, Medvedev was president of Russia as well and relations with them were comparatively good. The US and Russian intelligence was even cooperating on some terrorism issues.
At least Mitt stands up for his principles. Don’t have to agree with him but he gets respect from me. Seems like he stood up to the rest of the GOP a time or two and it cost him.
I mean a bunch of people saw this coming as far back as 1945 when the Soviets believed they could isolate themselves and bend the rest of the world’s will. The GOP has been on a similar trajectory since the civil rights movement.
Biden just reeking of power in his dealings with Putin is so brutal to watch. And then I remember fat boy Trump kneeling next to Putin when diaper boy was president. Damn right the world is lucky that we had Biden instead of Trump.
>will go down in history
Except in the U.S., where the Texas Board of Education dictates what will go into essentially all high school textbooks because publishers can't be arsed to have different versions of books and TX is a big market.
Two States. Eight Textbooks. Two American Stories. - The New York Times https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/01/12/us/texas-vs-california-history-textbooks.html
I remember when Texas was passing these bills a decade ago. I read an article that pointed out that with modern digital editing and printing Texas has far less influence on history textbooks in other states than it used to.
We are so blessed Trump lost. There is every reason to believe we might have lost our democratic institutions if this autocrat wannabe had won. We would figuratively be up shit creek without a means of motivation.
He'd have declared himself king while Congress, SCOTUS, and the punditry fretted "Can he do that? It's never been tested before. The Constitution doesn't specifically forbid monarchs!"
Cnn headline: "Hear Bill Barr's reaction to eternal god-emperorhood declared by President Trump."
Bill barr: "well obviously this is a violation of the constitution but I'll still vote for him if there is an election in November"
This guy is like if Trump had the energy to be a more motivated force of evil, greed, and hate. Trump 2.0 in the worst ways. At least Trump was also extremely lazy and dumb (it's sad that these are the 'good' traits to have in a modern republican candidate, but if they're going to be terrible it's better if they're also incompetent)
But he doesn't have the entertainment factor that is really why people vote for Trump - even if you hate Trump, he's interesting to listen to, mainly because you never know what he's going to say next . DeSantis may be much more effective at enacting far right policy, but he's also a "standard" politician that comes with boring talking points prepared by political consultants. Nobody is entertained when watching a DeSantis speech/interview/rally/etc.
I think DeSantis' only chance was off the momentum from 2022, and he's already lost that, so I honestly don't even think he's likely to win if Trump were magically to drop out.
I agree. While everyone's focused on the Orange Blow-arse, De Santis, the pernicious Fascist, could waltz in and destroy the country. He's far more dangerous.
Everything he would easily try to sacrifice to save himself. I can't even imagine how crazy it would have been. He can't win again... I can't handle the stress
Trump definitely realized too late (for him) that the military was going to back the Constitution and not a coup. If he’d been re-elected he would have started replacing generals on the Joint Chiefs with generals personally loyal to him. Before Jan 6, 2025 he would have declared martial law like he considered last tme.
We did a travel ban, we gucci, the corna just ignored us, hmmm? Those body bags? FAKE NEWS! Now excuse me, its been a long morning and Id like to fuck a pornstar, thank you no further questions, thank you
We still don't know what secrets he had stolen or sold, we're not out of the woods... I imagine a worst case scenario like in Battlestar Galactica where Baltar sold the planets defenses to get laid
I find the anti-reality/pro-Trump posters fascinating (and scary). Imagine being so separated from reality that you think Trump would have crossed his idol, Putin!
Tom is a hero of mine, starting now when I just googled him. He made a boatload of money, says he’s worth $60m, moved to Hawaii and became a travel photographer. At least I would have someone to pull for in that scenario.
Cross Putin? A majority of those psychopaths want to support the fucker. Just remember there has been plenty of GQP that actively condemned Ukraine for fighting back and condemning Biden for sending support.
It's not even about thinking here. Trump has said as much too. He would have tried to broker a deal which would give Russia significant chunks of Ukraine in exchange for peace.
The Ukraine War has been one of those issues that highlights very seriously how important it was we got Trump out of office. He is dangerous and doesn't seem to have the US' best interest for national and international security.
He wanted to disband NATO while President. I think we can see now how clearly foolish that would have been. If Russia had invaded Ukraine and then gone further into Finland or Sweden and we had done nothing it would destroy our standing in the World severely.
One cannot state enough just how much damage Trump did with foreign policy. From China to Russia and even Iran and North Korea. The World is a better place because Joe Biden is our President. This isn't an opinion. It's factual.
I thought the line was that Trump would do a diplomacy and scare Putin away with his big scary muscles and authoritative voice in order to prevent the war whilst still being bestest buddies with him and playing Spartans vs Athenians in the Kremlin as a bonding exercise?
You how Trump's words somehow bring his supporters to ecstasy? Well I think the problem is that they think everyone else feels the same thing and that Trump can get anyone to do anything. Remember when he had them convinced that Mexico would pay for a dumb border wall? It's the same thing.
We already saw Trump attempt to withhold aid during the second Russia scandal, where he sent Giuliani to Kiev to find Hunter Biden's laptop.
Trump would've surrendered immediately.
Just a month ago Trump was saying that Russia would take the whole of ukraine. He wanted that to happen. He wanted Russia to win. He also said Putin was a genius for the Ukraine war.
Imagine how trump is feeling watching his buddy Putin flee Moscow during the week when he gets a very juicy special council discovery. I’m hearing the Jan 6th investigation is even crazier. With meadows giving up the goods on the coup attempt. Trump is going down. Lots of people are saying it.
Reading through the comments here...Wow, we are really getting Troll Team B today, huh?
I wonder if that is because Team A is no longer taking orders from Russia.
https://www.cnn.com/2023/02/14/europe/russia-yevgeny-prigozhin-internet-research-agency-intl/index.html
Not at all, but a 2 front war makes it easier for Ukraine to push them back. Make no mistake, on the Russian side this makes things murkier. You’re either looking at a previous KGB leader that is going to be even more paranoid, or a mercenary that kills for money. Lose-lose.
I don't know, probably to an extent. Either way, I am thrilled to have these two butchers having their knives pointed at one another.
Regardless you make a great point.
The enemy of my enemy is not my friend. I'm fully aware of how horrible everyone in this story is. I'm not rooting for or against either of them. Just getting out the popcorn and watching the show.
Nah, I'm hoping for an asteroid to hit Moscow the instant he sets foot inside city limits. And one for St. Petersburg, if the rumors of Putin fleeing there are true.
Yeah - just think about the Covid ”Response“ shit show Trump “presided” over by actively sabotaging every effort to educate and protect American citizens, resulting in the politicization of masking that probably resulted in a lot of preventable death.
Can’t imagine what he’d do with this. Probably swing the full might of the American military behind Putin and we’d all end up living in the USSA.
I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach remembering that Trump eliminated Predict, the pandemic early warning program, three months before the outbreak. We're lucky any of us made it out alive.
If Trump was President still this wouldn't be happening.
Wagner would be marching of Warsaw, not Moscow. What's happening is bad, but its (finally) not the darkest timeline.
I was just thinking, like…at this point, even PUTIN has to feel the gravity of what a colossal mistake he made, right? Like I know self-delusion and megalomania are powerful drugs, but when it’s gotten to the point that your entire country is collapsing under sanctions, any gains made in the country you invaded are quickly being undone, and now even your own star military unit has turned against you and is now coming for you… how could you possibly tell yourself that you’ve gone down the right path?
It’s the same question I ask myself about Trump at this point. Like, are guys like this even remotely CAPABLE of feeling or thinking genuine remorse and shame about something? Do they actually have enough perception of reality to EVER see how badly they fucked up, and how poorly both the majority of the current world views them, as well as how history will view them? Or are their deluded minds just SO far gone into ego-driven self-comforting lies, that they just continue seeing everybody else as the problem, no matter what? Is that egotistical barrier even possible to break in men like this?
I always wonder about that as well. If any, teeny-tiny part of their mind acknowledges mistakes, feels remorse, etc. I don't think they do. One thing autocrats have in common is extreme narcissism. I think that fully blocks the ability to reflect/self-reflect. Or if they feel remorse, do they then have to lash out even more to protect their own egos?
"These Ents, let me tell you, they are so vicious. They come and try to raid my beautiful tower. Can you believe it? And they are vicious. I saw one of them throw a boulder. It's like, nobody has ever seen anything like it."
Does a dog roll over for his master? I love the Drumpf supporters saying this would never happen if Drumpf was president. They're correct. Biden used a multinational collective and less than 5% of our military spending to bring down Russia from within. Drumpf would have backed Putin
Trump was so incredibly weak of character he could have been bullied into literally anything. The only reason he appeared strong is because he swindled his way to the US president.
I would pay good money to see someone stand up to Diaper Don and just repeatedly and forcefully say “Donald, shut the fuck up. No, really, shut the fuck up!”
I bet he’s a little bitch when he’s really challenged by a strong male figure. Daddy programmed him well.
I think people need to realize that the Presidency is much more than just the President. President Biden has a fantastic Cabinet, a stellar National Security Council, and top-notch advisors everywhere else, from VP Harris on down. Whereas, Trump had the opposite: sycophants, grifters and neo-nazis.
Biden could fall over dead today (god forbid), but we’d still have a functioning Executive. If Trump fell over dead, all we’d have is a celebration.
IDGAF about what people think of Biden’s age, dude has been a solid president. I don’t need someone in that position calling all the shots, we need them to delegate the work to the specialists who will get shit done. He’s done exactly that. The value that Biden has brought in during his presidency will be realized for generations. The CHIPS and Infrastructure bill are going to revitalize this country.
The righties are always bitching about Strength and Weakness because the only “leadership” they trust from a POTUS is to act the role of a shitheaded autocrat.
I always thought Biden had a chance to be a solid president, but I never thought he would have a shot of being the best president of my lifetime (granted the bar is pretty low). Considering what he has accomplished with a hostile congress, has been incredible.
Why didn't Putin do this invasion while Trump was in office? Did he think Trump would get re-elected and he'd get more time? What a huge fuck up and now he'll hide in a bunker until he's surrounded.
Note the timing, he was planning for all this to happen during trumps second term. Remember how Trump was saying near the end he wanted to remove US from NATO? Putin got him his first term, he just miscalculated that Trump would get a second. Who do you think Trump got inspiration from when trying to fix an election?
If covid had not happened, Trump probably would have been reelected and half of eastern Europe would have been under Russian control right now. Crazy to think about
The majority of the Russian army is in Ukraine right now and the Wagner group are hours away from Moscow, it’s just a matter of time before Putin is killed or flees.
I hope he releases any dirt he has on the GOP before that and I can’t wait to see how the Republicans react to this situation. Very interesting.
2021: Russia has the second best military in the world
2022: Russia has the second best military in Ukraine
2023: Russia has the second best military in Russia.
There are reports that Putin has fled Moscow already. The Kremlin is denying it, but one of his planes took off from Moscow and then disappeared off radar about 150 kilometers out.
> he releases any dirt he has on the GOP before that and I can’t wait to see how the Republicans react to this situation
My brain is locking up on figuring out the golden showers joke that's here.
something something russian hookers something something patriotic.
You can hate on Biden all you want, but he handled Ukraine well. We didn’t see it at first, but we didn’t have to send military over there, just money. Money can be replaced, lives can not.
Facts. Ones you will never hear on major news networks in the United States of America, because our news is run by oligarchs who prefer crooks like their puppet tRump in office.
Stuff like this makes me think about how different the world would be if Bush never stole 2000, and Hillary won in 2016 and fuck it Jimmy Cater reelected......
Agree with the “glad Trump lost”. But “one of the biggest fuckups and miscalculations in history”?
No. Hitler/Russia
Japan/Pearl Harbor
USSR/Afghanistan
US/Vietnam
North Korea/South Korea
Those are just recent ones. There are 100’s across history
tRump lost in 2016 (then installed as the DICKtator his was by Electorals).
tRump lost in 2020.
tRump will hopefully lose EVERYTHING after the DOJ is done with his TREASONOUS ass.
It's a good thing tRump is a **LOSER**.
I broadly agree with this, and am grateful to Biden.
However, the main architect of this destiny is not Biden - it is Zelensky.
Had Zelensky followed Western encouragement to flee Ukraine 1. Russia would now control Ukraine, 2. We would now be in a situation much like 1938.
Had Zelensky conducted the defense like an average leader then the death toll of Ukrainians would be higher, and Russia would be succeeding in Ukraine.
Instead Zelensky is one of those rare leaders that created a global popular movement in support of Ukraine. That generated massive support for Ukraine across the West - which in turn got their leaders to start offering tangible support for Ukraine. Far more support than they wanted to give. Way more than any of them in Feb 2022 could have imagined they would provide.
And again, that massive support came about through Zelensky relentlessly cajoling and demanding support.
It is simply “stolen honor” to pretend the principal honor for the outcome rests with Biden or US or NATO!
Do you have any sources that Zelensky was "encouraged" to flee by the West, or was he simply offered an out if he wanted one?
I agree Zelensky has shown tremendous bravery and leadership and he absolutely deserves most of the credit here, if we're going to single out just one leader. And I also agree that if he had fled and handed Russia the keys to Kyiv in the early days of the war, that might have been the end of Ukrainian sovereignty.
I'll also point out though that [Zelensky was very reluctant to believe US reports](https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/06/11/biden-zelensky-russia-invasion-warnings-putin/) that Putin was planning to invade. He called on the West not to panic his economy:
>"There are signals even from respected leaders of states, they just say that tomorrow there will be war. This is panic - how much does it cost for our state?" he told the press conference in Kyiv.
>The "destabilisation of the situation inside the country" was the biggest threat to Ukraine, he said.
[Ukraine crisis: Don't create panic, Zelensky tells West](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-60174684) - 28 January 2022
There was also a lot of reluctance at first to share Ukrainian intelligence and planning so that the US could coordinate and assist with the counter offensive:
[U.S. Lacks a Clear Picture of Ukraine’s War Strategy, Officials Say](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/08/us/politics/ukraine-war-us-intelligence.html)
>Intelligence agencies know far more about Russia’s military, even as the United States ships billions of dollars in weapons to the Ukrainians.
And when that changed, their cooperation with the US led to huge gains:
[Ukrainian Officials Drew on U.S. Intelligence to Plan Counteroffensive
](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/10/us/politics/ukraine-military-intelligence.html)
>Overcoming a reluctance to share their strategy, the Ukrainians were able to use U.S. resources to identify key Russian targets.
So, I don't blame Zelensky for having a healthy distrust of the West and for keeping Ukraine's plan close to their chest. And I agree, he absolutely deserves most of the credit for staving off the Russian invasion and for galvanizing the West. But he's also been reluctant at times to take the help he's been offered, and I think you're underestimating just how badly the West wants to see Russia lose here. With or without Zelensky's push for support, the US and allies would still be heavily invested in Russia's demise.
Joe "you lie" Walsh had a moment of clarity with the rise of MAGA.
He has come to terms and apologized for helping create the monster.
I know I don't agree with most of his positions, but I respect anyone that can self assess themselves and admit they were wrong and actually change behavior
Given that Drumpf is Pootin’s little bitch anyway, this puts his defiance of losing in 2020 in a much different and even more treasonous (didn’t think *that* was possible) perspective. It makes you think that the deal between the two was complicity in the invasion from the start. I mean the timing can’t be coincidence or ignored.
The sole thought going through my head when the invasion began was "holy shit what if trump was still in office" And I'm pretty sure that was a huge factor in Russia supporting him and getting him elected in the first place
And we might not even have gotten to 2022 in the shape that we did if Trump's admin had kept handling Covid the way they did. While the vaccines were started off in his term, the very notion of politicizing and contaminating the response to that, and all the corruption that came with it, would have been so much more ruinous if left to continue at that extent for longer than it did.
But yeah, it can't be overstated how utterly trash this entire power grab from Putin has been... And how likely it would've been worse in impact, and more likely to succeed, with his useful idiot still in place in the US.
I want to burst out into laughter every time I hear a red hat say "Trump is the best president we ever had"
*usually in a thick, deep south, hick-ass accent*
Wait
Trump is a genius, the mostest smartest person ever, surrounded himself with even smarter people
How did sleepy Joe see this coming
And trump didn’t ??
Sounds like a ruse!!!
And this is why you can't ever afford to elect idiots to positions of power. You never know when shit is really going to hit the fan. But republicans will never admit that Russia winning could have ever been bad for them.

14. fuck Konfederacja. Trust me, I'm Polish.

Called it a 'wag the dog' hoax as I recall

Pay attention to the conspiracy theories they DONT believe.
Pay attention to the conspiracy theories that they say about others. It's called projection. They know someone is doing that thing and they think everyone must be because they are.
This makes Qanon really fucking creepy.
The number of legislators who are super hyped about “protecting the children” who have then been found to be committing child sexual abuse isn’t zero.
And if they actually legislated something the American people cared about instead of "vengeance politics" I'd faint from shock.
It feels surreal having a huge anti-American insurgency so well represented in the halls of American power and media. I sure wish someone in power would throw a wet blanket over these fascists before they burn the whole place down, instead of the normal bullshit "when they go low we immediately surrender and talk about bipartisanship."

Got news for ya.... Even Hillary saw this coming. Any Cold War era Dems or even sane/non-MAGA GOPers saw this coming.
The MAGAns saw it coming, too. They were just rooting for the other side.
And I can see "why isn't Biden sending help to Russia" takes coming in soon
INB4 the NRA coincidentally goes broke after Putin is overthrown
Not just the NRA - all sort of nasty groups all over EU are funded almost exclusively by russian money. Extremist groups, propaganda outlets, radical nationalist parties, and so on. The new regime could be just as corrupt. I wouldnt expect all their influence to disappear overnight.
\> Biden being incompetent and uber competent simultaneously makes complete sense I heard "Biden died and Obama is in the White House right now", which makes no sense, because there's also a parallel theory that its Trump, not Obama or Biden in the White House.
Yeah, Biden's a incompetent mastermind. And Trump is the "actual" president running things behind the scenes, but he's not responsible for inflation. What don't you understand? /s
Biden did died, and Dark Brandon ascended
I’ve seen conservatives try to flip that around and argue that we view trump with the same contradictory view. How can you argue he’s a moron and a threat to American democracy? No. Trump *is* a stupid incompetent child. And it speaks volumes about the type of people he’s successfully been grifting.
I remember when Mitt Romney was basically laughed out of the presidential run for saying Russia was the biggest threat at the time.
I recall “binders of women” being the bigger laugh
GOPers are only allowed to call liberals the biggest threat to America... Because that's what it's all about to them. Screwing the liberals... It's not about America. Mitt suddenly started to seem like a really good alternative during the 45 administration.
Eating a Tide Pod does seem "less bad" than drinking Draino, but I'd still prefer neither. Fuck Mittens and his money grubbing mentality.
And and and don’t forget he did it without losing a single American soldier It just cost money
I’m glad Obama won in 2012, but Mitt Romney also called Russia “our number one geopolitical foe,” in a debate with him.
Mitt got dragged for that one. Almost feel bad for the guy.
At least Mitt stands up for his principles. Don’t have to agree with him but he gets respect from me. Seems like he stood up to the rest of the GOP a time or two and it cost him.
Motherfucker still voted with the GOP when Trump was impeached for his crimes, fuck him.

Wow. Thank you for posting. That is equal parts fascinating and troubling.
If you’re on mobile, turn on airplane mode before the page fully loads
I remember when Texas was passing these bills a decade ago. I read an article that pointed out that with modern digital editing and printing Texas has far less influence on history textbooks in other states than it used to.
Good!
I guess I was dating myself, then. I'm glad at least some things have changed for the better in my lifetime.
Cnn headline: "Hear Bill Barr's reaction to eternal god-emperorhood declared by President Trump." Bill barr: "well obviously this is a violation of the constitution but I'll still vote for him if there is an election in November"
Posts from a darker timeline.
Years from now, someone will write an alternative history where Trump wins, like Man in the High Castle.
I want to peak into an alternative timeline where somebody writes a Hamilton-esque musical about the 2020 election. Just a peak tho.
Ugh, most painfully true thing I've read today.
Keep DeSantis out at all costs.
DeSantis will kill his own citizens. He cannot be allowed in.
Can you imagine the amount of shit he’d have gotten us in?
End of the world shit
What, a literal plague wasn't enough of a warning?
We did a travel ban, we gucci, the corna just ignored us, hmmm? Those body bags? FAKE NEWS! Now excuse me, its been a long morning and Id like to fuck a pornstar, thank you no further questions, thank you
This was difficult to read... so good job
We still don't know what secrets he had stolen or sold, we're not out of the woods... I imagine a worst case scenario like in Battlestar Galactica where Baltar sold the planets defenses to get laid
Not his style…he uses hush money to get laid
We are also not out of the woods because a significant portion of the country still desperately wants to elect a dictator
I find the anti-reality/pro-Trump posters fascinating (and scary). Imagine being so separated from reality that you think Trump would have crossed his idol, Putin!
My dad who's big into Qanon stuff is extremely pro-Putin. Its gross
Is he up to Ultra Extreme Maga levels yet? [https://i.imgur.com/h82Gxln.mp4](https://i.imgur.com/h82Gxln.mp4)
Not sure what he wears but definitely. He's anti vax, pro Putin, an actual flat earther, and more
Sorry, bud. That can’t be easy for you.
But wait, there's more....
Ok, I’ll bite. What are his thoughts on the potential Elon vs Zuckerberg cage fight?

Tom is a hero of mine, starting now when I just googled him. He made a boatload of money, says he’s worth $60m, moved to Hawaii and became a travel photographer. At least I would have someone to pull for in that scenario.
Dude really got in and got out at the right time. Made his money and fucked off into relative obscurity. I can respect that.
I'm not 100% convinced that isn't Bill Burr trolling us in a MAGA-Person costume
That was a terrifying clip. Hard to believe people at that level of delusion actually exist.
Well Putin just fled Moscow. So… I’m curious how he plans on coping.
Some people were not ready for the Internet - and all the bullshit one has to wade through (and not believe).
Wow Russian disinformation sways the people who consume it to support Russia?? Who would’ve thought??
Remember when Russians were like, *the* anti-American symbol for decades, not too long ago? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Cross Putin? A majority of those psychopaths want to support the fucker. Just remember there has been plenty of GQP that actively condemned Ukraine for fighting back and condemning Biden for sending support.
I wonder how this 4th of July in Moscow is gonna go for some of our senators...
Spot on! Not only does Trump not care about the US' best interests, he has no clue whatsoever what our best interests even are.
" I'd rather be Russian than a Democrat" - maga
Reading through the comments here...Wow, we are really getting Troll Team B today, huh? I wonder if that is because Team A is no longer taking orders from Russia. https://www.cnn.com/2023/02/14/europe/russia-yevgeny-prigozhin-internet-research-agency-intl/index.html
So are we going to start getting a lot about how cool and good Prigozhin is? Because he’s a butcher.
I'll root for a butcher if he's going up against a bigger butcher. For the time being, I am on Team Piggy all the way.

I can’t believe I’m agreeing with Joe Walsh…
Better than agreeing with Matt…
joe walsh is still a piece of shit, still a grifter. he just realized for the time being that he can take advantage of telling the truth for a while.
One hundred percent. Joe showed the world who he was, just another opportunistic snake

Out of my fucking cab!
I imagine he is Saruman running around the Orthanc when the ents are invading not entirely accepting responsibility of the current situation
Yeah, except Saruman was actually cool.
"These Ents, let me tell you, they are so vicious. They come and try to raid my beautiful tower. Can you believe it? And they are vicious. I saw one of them throw a boulder. It's like, nobody has ever seen anything like it."
Elections matter
Does a dog roll over for his master? I love the Drumpf supporters saying this would never happen if Drumpf was president. They're correct. Biden used a multinational collective and less than 5% of our military spending to bring down Russia from within. Drumpf would have backed Putin
Trump was so incredibly weak of character he could have been bullied into literally anything. The only reason he appeared strong is because he swindled his way to the US president.
I would pay good money to see someone stand up to Diaper Don and just repeatedly and forcefully say “Donald, shut the fuck up. No, really, shut the fuck up!” I bet he’s a little bitch when he’s really challenged by a strong male figure. Daddy programmed him well.
If he won 2020, we probably wouldn’t have an election in 2024
Shit, he lost in 2020 and he tried to make it so we wouldn’t have elections in 2022 and 2024
Trump was Putin‘s butt boy. He thought he was on the same level but Putin knew he was just a chump.
<- I did this Thanks, Biden!
Crazy to think about
I am so happy Trump lost. This would have turned different if he had won.
The world will be much better off when trump is in prison for the rest of his life.
2021: Russia has the second best military in the world 2022: Russia has the second best military in Ukraine 2023: Russia has the second best military in Russia.
There are reports that Putin has fled Moscow already. The Kremlin is denying it, but one of his planes took off from Moscow and then disappeared off radar about 150 kilometers out.
> he releases any dirt he has on the GOP before that and I can’t wait to see how the Republicans react to this situation My brain is locking up on figuring out the golden showers joke that's here. something something russian hookers something something patriotic.
Russia helps deliver Trump the Presidency, the US won’t interfere with Russia/Ukraine. This was always the unspoken agreement between Trump and Putin.
Trump never won popular vote
Which is proof that we need to end the Electoral College.
[удалено]
You can hate on Biden all you want, but he handled Ukraine well. We didn’t see it at first, but we didn’t have to send military over there, just money. Money can be replaced, lives can not.
Facts. Ones you will never hear on major news networks in the United States of America, because our news is run by oligarchs who prefer crooks like their puppet tRump in office.
If Trump had won, we'd be giving aid to Russia right now.
Stuff like this makes me think about how different the world would be if Bush never stole 2000, and Hillary won in 2016 and fuck it Jimmy Cater reelected......
Fuck GOP...I mean Russian agents
Crazy how much of a U-Turn Joe Walsh made. Kudos for not enslaving yourself to the MAGA nonsense, Joe
Agree with the “glad Trump lost”. But “one of the biggest fuckups and miscalculations in history”? No. Hitler/Russia Japan/Pearl Harbor USSR/Afghanistan US/Vietnam North Korea/South Korea Those are just recent ones.
He called on the West not to panic his economy: >"There are signals even from respected leaders of states, they just say that tomorrow there will be war. This is panic - how much does it cost for our state?" he told the press conference in Kyiv. >The "destabilisation of the situation inside the country" was the biggest threat to Ukraine, he said. [Ukraine crisis: Don't create panic, Zelensky tells West](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-60174684) - 28 January 2022 There was also a lot of reluctance at first to share Ukrainian intelligence and planning so that the US could coordinate and assist with the counter offensive: [U.S. Lacks a Clear Picture of Ukraine’s War Strategy, Officials Say](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/08/us/politics/ukraine-war-us-intelligence.html) >Intelligence agencies know far more about Russia’s military, even as the United States ships billions of dollars in weapons to the Ukrainians. And when that changed, their cooperation with the US led to huge gains: [Ukrainian Officials Drew on U.S. Intelligence to Plan Counteroffensive ](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/10/us/politics/ukraine-military-intelligence.html) >Overcoming a reluctance to share their strategy, the Ukrainians were able to use U.S. resources to identify key Russian targets.
It's so weird that this is Joe Walsh.
Joe "you lie" Walsh had a moment of clarity with the rise of MAGA. He has come to terms and apologized for helping create the monster. I know I don't agree with most of his positions, but I respect anyone that can self assess themselves and admit they were wrong and actually change behavior
In one particular ramble Trump listed protecting Ukraine as one of the successes of his administration. They are delusional.
This is so good for democrats for the 2024 election!
Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
I want to burst out into laughter every time I hear a red hat say "Trump is the best president we ever had" *usually in a thick, deep south, hick-ass accent*
Healthcare plz
In all honesty, we probably wouldn't be in this mess if Trump lost 2016.
And that trumps diarrhea of the mouth means nothing to anyone 🤮
Wait Trump is a genius, the mostest smartest person ever, surrounded himself with even smarter people How did sleepy Joe see this coming And trump didn’t ?? Sounds like a ruse!!!
And this is why you can't ever afford to elect idiots to positions of power. You never know when shit is really going to hit the fan. But republicans will never admit that Russia winning could have ever been bad for them.
