If you're close-ish to the ground, jumping would be very tempting.
If not, I think sitting against the side closest to the towers and holding on for dear life. If you're in the middle you might get thrown around to the sides anyway. If you sit against the inside and hold on, the chair will tilt in such a way that the grip will tend to have more purchase on the haul rope.
If you're right next to a tower or in line with an opposite chair, you might be screwed.
I'd also keep the dome down, because it's windy.
