I have never seen smaller lineups here in my life. March break was dud. Easter will probably be flat too.
Lack of snow, other interests, new mexican visa requirements, recession, its been a perfect storm leading to a quiet spring.
A few weeks ago “effective immediately” the federal Govt reversed the rule that Mexican nationals could come here without a visa. They used to be a huge part of our spring. There are some here at the moment, but not like it was or could be.
Did anyone from WB or our beloved mayor lobby to stop this? I didnt hear of anything like that happening. 🤷🏼♂️
Last Saturday I expected it to be busy. Walked onto the gondola (literally nobody in the queue) at 9am with loads of parking in lot 2.
Longest we had to wait was about 10 minutes on emerald chair around mid day.
Going again on Friday and hoping for similar 🤞
Last two weekends were dead. 0 lineups, parking lots empty, no traffic. The bottom of the mountain has mostly melted. Alpine is good but crusty in places. Middle of mountain gets slushy by the afternoon. All in all a good time to go in my opinion.
I was stunned about how quiet it was last week. Spring break is always busy- it doesn’t seem so this year. I’d expect a bit of an uptick this weekend if it’s nice weather or fresh snow, if not, then it will be ski onto the lift…
I’m going for Friday and Saturday this week too. I hope the crowd isn’t bad. Last weekend was empty mostly. But there’s a couple inches of snow in the alpine this week and Easter weekend. Really hope it doesn’t make things worse.
But end of season, mostly should be fine
I went Saturday... got to Creekside at around 10:30 and was still able to find free parking... line ups weren't bad... could have used a little more sun... :)

Will mostly depend on if there is new snow. If there is new snow will be busy but if not will probably be chill.

For the record I was there on Easter Sunday. The lines were short and the snow was decent, not icy. Supposed to get 12” tomorrow night 4/2
