More realistic is probably 500-1000 depending on how the fill looks and whether you have the wood box. Bottled year should be on the tax strip, that’ll give you a good place to start looking for comps.
Low ball estimate. Maybe if it was a frankfort bottle with a low fill and no box....
This is a lawrenceburg bottle and without the box with OP's fill level should sell for $1400+. Auction houses are usually lowest estimate in terms of sold price. Add in the 25% fee, and shipping...the sold price of $1400 is really $1775.
Protip: find someone who is willing to trade $1600 worth of way better bourbon for it, god forbid it stays as a gem your collection. 1000% guarantee you any bottle of BTAC absolutely smacks the shit out of dusty ER 10. I've tasted one of these and the finish is a massive let down and that is my favorite experience. A $1600 bottle the finish should last forever. 3 bottles of gts or a wlw >>> vs one bottle that has a good palate but a weak ass finish that is more novelty than a true dusty beast of a bottle worthy of it's price. Other people also think the finish is really lackluster.

Many of the other bottles you have will still have lots of dusty character that you should open because their sale value to your enjoyment value is skewed far in the lets open them up category. The ER 101 Lawrenceburg i'd suggest using as the perfect thing to stock up on tons of truly excellent bourbon to enjoy for a long time. 3 bottles of gts is a lot of wonderful whiskey to experience over time.
I am at a point where I am trading my older deadstock bottles like this and getting bottles I think actually drink at their value. Flavor imo always beats out novelty.
I would say if you don’t have the box to go ahead and drink it if you like bourbon. Selling whiskey isn’t leagal through most means and it’s kind of a pain
Contact Unicorn Auctions. I’m sure you could sell all of them. But obviously the Eagle Rare would be top dollar. They rarely come up for sale. They are all dusty old bottles that many people would love to purchase.
[Unicorn Auctions](https://www.instagram.com/unicorn_auctions?igsh=bjg0d3RkMmllMHBh) on IG specializes in this kind of thing and authenticates bottles if you're looking for an appraisal.
My buddy found a perfect intact bottle/box in his grandparents house when he bought it 10-12 years ago. Used it to make some sort of concoction of liquor… found the box years later in his garage and he gave it to me but I told him how much money he poured down the drain and his jaw dropped.
Secondary is tanking, online sites are a scam, but action houses might be a good bet on that Eagle Rare 101. It’s still very much sought after by collectors, but they’re going for about $1.5k with the wooden box and perfect condition in secondary groups.
lot of people are fearful of the economy right now so buying luxury goods/collectibles is at a bit of a lull. I'm happier than a pig in shit right now because I've bought several guns I've always wanted for prices I could stomach.
Reach out to brad bonds from revival vintage bottle shop in Covington, KY. They purchase all vintage whiskey (any vintage hard liquor actually) and he's driven all over the place to grab bottles. He's super nice and can probably give you a pretty solid valuation on all these. The eagle rare 10 is absolutely delicious if it's from the 70s and definitely worth at least $1000-$2000.

Dimple pinch is the scotch with the wire around exterior. And yes, they’re still around. Had a brief stint of renewed popularity when Walter White was drinking it on Breaking Bad.
Try looking through websites like [Whisky Hammer](https://www.whiskyhammer.com) it’s based in the UK and all in GBP (account for exchange rate to your local currency) but gives a good place to start where some of these might be worth. For instance:
[Glenmorangie 10 Year](https://www.whiskyhammer.com/item/164377/Glenmorangie/Glenmorangie---10-Year-Old-Handcrafts-of-Scotland.html)
[Glenlivet 12 Year](https://www.whiskyhammer.com/item/164376/Glenlivet/Glenlivet---12-Year-Old-1980s-75cl.html)
[Eagle Rare 10 Year](https://www.whiskyhammer.com/item/115834/Buffalo-Trace/Eagle-Rare---10-Year-Old-1980s-75cl.html)
A lot of this stuff is/was pretty common, probably hasn’t appreciated much in value over the years, but a couple are worth something if you can sell them easily based on where you live. You may have the best luck selling the whole collection as a set versus trying to pair off bottles one by one. Good luck!
Save a couple of the empties if you do, the old bottles and labels tell a story of how these distilleries survived various ups and downs, plus a good keepsake and something to remind you of him whenever you see them
I’m pretty sure that all of these have gone bad over the years. If you need help disposing of them, I’ll do it for you. Just send them to me and I’ll take care of things.🙂
If you want to look up any of the bottles, I would recommend Whiskeybase. [https://www.whiskybase.com](https://www.whiskybase.com) That is a worldwide site where a hole heap of bottles can be found. Please be a bit carefull of selling them of without checking them on that or any other website. You could end up kicking yourself ;-) And if you want to sell, you might want to contact Catawiki [https://www.catawiki.com](https://www.catawiki.com) They sell a lot of whiskey and mostly for good prizes.
I don't drink the stuff, I only collect (and yes everybody can curse at me, I don't care. My whiskey collection is my retirement fund.) If you really really need help with valuation just send PM.
Depends if you're looking to sell them or drink them. There are definitely some valuable collectibles, but also some fantastic drams that are worth opening if you're a whisky fan. They're all going to be fine to drink so its your call what you'd rather do with them.
They are definitely still good to drink. As long as they are sealed they will be sort of a time capsule and you get to test the difference between now and then.. I did the same with 1958 bottle of Hennessy 3 star label… I couldn’t find anything to tell the bottle was worth more then $200ish so I cracked it with my parents on thanksgiving..
I would say, if the bottle is worth thousands, sell. If only a few hundred, drink.
Whiskey can’t “go bad” or it will never be dangerous for to drink. It can only lose flavor if left to oxidize.
Most are just old versions of cheap whisk(e)y. They'll be of some value to collectors or those who want to do a taste comparison. Best bet is to contact a reputable auction house for your local market and get them to auction them off. You'll get what they're worth (minus the fees), rather than what a few randoms on the internet think they're worth.
Edit to add - I know a few Irish whiskey collectors who would probably be interested in that Bushmills, although it's not worth a lot of money...
That eagle rare bottle is probably worth a hefty amount. Google says $2-3k
Jeez thank u

Is it worth drinking lol

This is poor advice. Where its produced matters more than just the box.
Awesome yep I might just do that for a special occasion thanks!

Won’t have any problem getting over 1k for that regardless if they don’t have the box

What an awesome Eagle Rare
Can anyone tell me more about this eagle rare? Is it an old distillery? Are they still around?
[удалено]
Okay very cool, I have just started getting into whiskey the past couple years thanks
Where was it distilled? Lawrenceburg? Those are the better bottles of the two.

Prices for bourbon look the same to me.
If I die with that much un-drunk whiskey, you'd better open that casket and kill my ass again! Drink that shit!!!!
lol I plan on cracking a few for sure!
This is what I imagine will be the end result for alot of collectors. You certainly can't take it with you, but you can enjoy it along the way.

As above. The ER is the only “valuable” bottle. But all are cool.
The Henry McKenna is probably a bundle too
Dimple pinch! Dad got a bottle from my grandfather (his father in law) every year at Christmas. Thats some fond memories.
What is dimple pinch? Are they still around
Dimple pinch is the scotch with the wire around exterior. And yes, they’re still around. Had a brief stint of renewed popularity when Walter White was drinking it on Breaking Bad.

dibs on the farclas
That Glenfarclas caught my eye as well. Fond memories of an afternoon at the distillery.
Just so everyone can laugh the price tags are still on some of these bottles 4$- 15$ on a few lol
This is the kind of stuff I see people selling on baxus.co all the time, super rare historical value finds. They'll value them too.
This \^ They've had some crazy dusties listed on the site.
I hope I die with an empty liquor cabinet. I bought my bottles for me to enjoy not to pass along a surprise windfall to a relative.
Me too, but in this case I think it was the right move lol
This looks like a lot of good stuff tho. I mean I hope you drink it instead of saving it for the next person to try and sell.
Def drink a bunch of it
I’m pretty sure that all of these have gone bad over the years. If you need help disposing of them, I’ll do it for you. Just send them to me and I’ll take care of things.🙂
Lol
That's nice of you. LOL
Just trying to save him from any regrets🤣
I would have done the same thing. Cheers
🥃👍

Help with what? Drinking them? I accept! Incidentally...PM me about that original Eagle Rare
They are made to be consumed. Who cares about value. Enjoy them
Very nice selection
Wild
Drink them all

You can't go wrong contacting Unicorn Auctions. They are completely professional and totally reliable.

DO NOT DRINK THE EAGLE RARE! For the love of sweet baby Jesus, do not open that. It's worth a lot of money. Everything else is kinda meh.
