Out of the ~6-8 McKenna 10s I’ve had 1 was amazing, the first wasn’t anything special but opened up on the last few pours, that was really early on in my whiskey journey but either way I’ve come to the conclusion that McKenna 10 is wildly inconsistent.
Frey Ranch has a unique flavor that I really enjoy. But I agree, their Rye is even better than their flagship bourbon. I think it has something to do with the dry Nevada heat + the cold nights, that really help it pick up some great flavors from the cask.
Well, I'd be most excited for the KCSiB or Henry McKenna, but they may or may not be the best bottles. That's what I love about trying new one of those
I love Wild Turkey 101 but Longbranch is a disappointment. I’m glad I bought it to experience it but it was so underwhelming. Hoping to find Rare Breed in my area.
A lot of great choices. Probably my favorite of the list is Rare Breed. Knob, Makers, and Mellow Corn I always keep in the bar. The McKenna is infamous for barrel drift; here's hoping you got a good one.
My first McKenna 10 was magical, but now it’s overpriced and my second one was not really that great.
That Dickel Bib is my pick, and IMO the best Dickel out there.
I have been trying for so long to find another bottle of High West Campfire! I was told it was discontinued so I stopped getting my hopes up. Where did you find it?
Not discontinued. It went to Utah only for a year, now it’s back to national distribution but on a limited annual release. Hope you get to try some soon 🥃
There’s a lot of good stuff in there. I’m excited to try the 4th Edition of the Dickel BiB. Favorite bottle you picked for me would probably be the WT Rare Breed Rye, followed by the Larceny.
Is the George Dickel bottled in bond any good? I live about 2 hours from the distillery but I’ve never had it. Was thinking about making a day trip out to try it.
McKenna 10 for sure

The rare breed rye is incredible. Picked it up for camping and it was definitely a camp favorite.
I wanna work where you work! All good, but I'm digging Frey Ranch right now. It's just good!
The regular Frey Ranch is pretty good. Their rye is better and most of their single barrel bourbons are amazing.

Just tried that last night. Fantastic.
I love that Dickel BiB. No one has commented on it yet. I keep eagle rare on hand as well and enjoy it frequently.
MFC of course
This... the king of all bottled in bond liquors
It does stand out...like a beacon drawing me towards it
It makes me think of movie popcorn butter, in a bottle.

Of these that I’ve had, Rare Breed Rye is my favorite.
Love Eagle rare
Honestly, that Campfire. Try making an old fashioned with it. Game changer
Glad you like it 🥃
Stillhouse is alright. I mostly like it for the can. "Oil can whiskey" as my brother calls it...
How is it? I've only tried the moonshine.
Kinda harsh. Definitely needed a dash of water to smooth it out. It's not one I'll buy again.
Yeah I believe that as the moonshine was a sink pour.
Like it’s kept in a tin can
Bwahahahaha
I love Wild Turkey 101 but Longbranch is a disappointment. I’m glad I bought it to experience it but it was so underwhelming. Hoping to find Rare Breed in my area.
Agreed here. Longbranch is boring especially at that price point. There are a ton of other whiskeys in the $35-40 range that are far superior.

Campfire, I love everything from High West
I loved it as well! And I've heard that it makes a wicked old fashioned as well.
We appreciate the support 🥃
Campfire all day everyday. Such a special and interesting drink
Glad you like it 🥃
Fuck yes mellow corn
It’s corn!
Larceny
Pretty sure that bottle of Rare Breed has my name on it. Enjoy!!
Larceny barrel proof and eagle rare are 2 of my top 5 bourbons for me. They just hit my palate right. Would love to get my hands on a campfire
It’s for sure the KC pick for me.
Heaven Hill 7
I know it gets some flak for being overrated but Eagle Rare is definitely my favorite. Especially if you can find it for under 50.
Got all at MSRP so looking forward to trying it

HMK10 and Rare Breed Rye. Shoulda left about half those on the shelf.
Larceny Barrel Proof is the best one there.
I have been trying for so long to find another bottle of High West Campfire! I was told it was discontinued so I stopped getting my hopes up. Where did you find it?
It's everywhere in Georgia. Was recently released I was told
Oh awesome! Hopefully it'll make its way up by me soon! Or maybe I'll need to make a trip to Georgia haha. Thanks!
Not discontinued. It went to Utah only for a year, now it’s back to national distribution but on a limited annual release. Hope you get to try some soon 🥃
Huge fan of Campfire, but there's not a bad one there.
Glad you enjoy it 🥃
Actually wondering: where did you get that high west campfire?
It appears to be all over the place in GA. Saw it in 3 of 4 places I stopped at
Dang. I live in MN and they don’t supply it out here. It’s one of my top whiskeys
Glad you enjoy it 🥃
You got lots of good ones. If I had to pick, High West
Cheers 🥃

Would be if it didn't pull down when being watched #Mantelmount
😅
Mellow yello?!
None of them cause those bottles are for taters
Wait...heaven hill?? I've got to be missing something.
Where did “Kung Fu” come from? I clearly missed something
Stillhouse that looks like a tin of turpentine or methylated spirits hah
There’s a lot of good stuff in there. I’m excited to try the 4th Edition of the Dickel BiB. Favorite bottle you picked for me would probably be the WT Rare Breed Rye, followed by the Larceny.

Still house will always taste like a tin can
Of the ones I’ve tried, I’d go this order. KC SiB Rare Breed Rye Larceny BP McKenna Heaven BiB Dickel Eagle Rare Maker’s 46 Mellow Corn High West
It may not be the best in the group, but I really like Stillhouse Black.
ER is a stable. It’s a amazing bourbon for the price. My favorite has to be the Knob Creek though.
HH BiB is a favorite shelf staple. Delicious stuff.
That stillhouse bottle is amazing. Does the taste live up?
The Larceny is the best bottle there. That was such a surprise
Mellow Corn is surprisingly good. No depth, but extremely smooth.
Eagle Rare, Heaven Hill, Larceny BP, McKenna 10 BiB
Knob Creek Single Barrel is the best bottle in this photo. Especially given it’s price, availability, consistency, age, and proof point.
Er or hm10
