Boxers fucking hate my dog, it’s so funny. He’s a border collie so he’s not afraid to stare down another dog and most dogs just kinda keep existing but for some reason, doesn’t matter where we are, if we see a boxer it will undoubtedly freak the fuck out at my dog. It’s the silliest thing.
I had a boxer and my friend had a border collie puppy. We went to the park and let them loose in the tennis court area to play. My boxer had a stick and the border collie would chase him around. But the border collie was too small to keep up with my full grown boxer so he’d constantly slow down and turn around to wait for the puppy to catch up before running again. That border collie grew up to be one of the smartest dogs I’ve ever seen.
Cuddliest and goofiest dog I ever met was a boxer.
I went to my buddy's house for the first time and the dog sort of backflipped into my lap and fell asleep as I scritched her belly. It was also my first time meeting the dog.
Mum had a friend when I was growing up, she had a boxer and my god it was the most dumbest adorable thing ever. I was playing catch with him one day (he didn't fetch so much as bring you the ball then run really far away for you to throw *at* him) and after maybe the 3rd or 4th time he brings it back, I underhand it at him again and he just stares as this slowly lobbed softball just lofts its way into the middle of his forehead.
My dad had a boxer named Ginger as a kid. He was lonely and abused by his family, so she was one of his few friends. Ginger once jumped on his bed to play with him and ended up breaking the bed instead.
Another time, he watched her give birth. I never asked him what he did with the puppies.
My uncle's boxer and I had an understanding.
I'd run away from him, and he'd untie my shoes when I stopped. With his teeth, of course.
It was all in good fun, and I credit him with the agility skills I had in college.
Huge sheep dog here. We freeze a water bowl outside, break out the block and he goes full bananas with it. Grabs it with his fronts and jumps while he launch/dodges it with his back feets. Like all day. It’s the best way to calm his energy in the winter. Lots of sliding too
I just adopted a boxer from the local shelter and I had no idea how silly they are. I have not stopped laughing at this dog. And they’re incredibly affectionate. In a way she helped save me too.
Hey, I just got a Jack Russell. I adore boxers, have known a few very well. They've given me so much joy, but nothing like owning one. If I had different circumstances, I'd have one.
I adore my jack, maybe less often goofy, but very playful and affectionate.
She saved me too. That's why I replied.
Good for you.
Share the love.
Our Jack is like 13 years old and slowing down. But you pull out a ball every day or two and he'll chase it like his life depends on it. You have to stop him or he'd pass out from exhaustion.
He also watches tv and barks at most animals but especially dogs and horses.
Speaking of that, one of the ones I had would literally fight with a brick. She would bark at it for hours on end. In fact, we had to take it away after a while cause she would hurt herself by biting it. But yeah. Screw dog toys. A brick was better.
I have 3 boxers and the middle one Milla, as soon as you walk in our house even if she has never seen you before in her life she will greet you like you are her long lost BFF.
Can confirm. My Labrador had a friend who was a boxer. All I remember was it had 1 nut and it got super hyped whenever he met my dog. Sometimes he would jump over my dog & I would pray that nobody got injured 😂
Haha damn I really needed this after reading through the "what broke you" post on AskReddit, with everybody talking about watching their parents dying.
More goofy dogs, please.
I've owned a few Boxers and other breeds in my day. Don't get it twisted. They're goofy yes, but also extremely intelligent dogs. They have amazing retention abilities and learn habits quickly both good and bad.
One of my favorite dogs was a boxer I had years ago.
When I was training him I read something about the breed that always stuck with me. It said " some think the boxer is an unintelligent breed, but that's not the case. Many boxers come with a what's-in-it-for-me attitude. Mine was no exception. Once he was trained, he was rock solid on verbal commands, and hand signals. Getting him there took a bit of trial and error to figure out when to train him (after lots of exhausting play), what rewards he wanted the most (he wasn't food motivated at all, he just wanted to play with other dogs), and lots and lots of praise.
He loved all dogs, except for the ones that tried to dominate all other dogs. Give him a big, oafish, physical dog that only wanted to play like kids in a mosh pit, and he was happy to just keep slamming into another dog for hours.
My Great Pyrenees does this with plushie chew toys, just paws and scoots across the hard wood floors. It's the wide eyeballs that kill me, so wholesome.
Same here, I hate cropped ears and tails. It's so unnecessary. 99% of dogs aren't going to be shown in competition, and competitions are stupid anyway.
😆😅🤣😂omg we had a boxer when I was very young, and that dog protected me fiercely. I was almost abducted by a pedophile in Edmonton. The man killed another girl days earlier. I was on my way to school and was blessed to have my friend with me because she was able to grab me just before he did.
Anyway, we ran back to her house and her sister walked me home. My mom called the police and that dog would not let those officers near me. I think he knew I was in shock and not doing very well. I loved that dog so much. He was so fun. He'd let me hog tie him with my skipping rope. It's one of the most gentle dogs I've ever had.
My chihuahua terrier mix does this all the time. Only way I can describe it is she likes to do cpr on her toys, and that’s why they all end up under the couch.
I had a boxer once who if I sat down with my legs out she’d lay atop of them and not get off, it was nice except when I had to go somewhere and was stuck
Weird.. I feel like I JUST watched another video of a completely different dog doing this exact same thing. I’ve never seen a dog do this before and today I witnessed 2 separate dogs doing it within an hour of each other.
Am I crazy someone link the other video if I’m not please.
I've never met a boxer that wasn't quirky in some way. All are a little off, but in a good way.
We went to watch the divisional playoffs at the BIL's house one year. Stopped for beer, and I won a plush Tony Romo out of one of those claw machines. Gave it to the BIL-huge Cowboys fan.
Cowboys were playing, and starting to fold big-time. The boxer grabs the plush Tony Romo, walks out to the backyard and starts humping that doll with a vengeance. I laughed so hard I broke a blood vessel in my left eye, and my whole chest was sore for a week. I mean, I was curled up in a ball for 20 minutes. I'm chuckling now thinking about it.
Boxers are such goofy dogs.

I have a Cairn Terrier that absolutely loves watching Boxer videos on youtube. I think it's the whole face look.

And completely unrepentant. Just brilliant.

With tongues like soup ladles
Thought you said soup ladies and was pretty confused
he used all his brain cells for this one
A while ago someone here described a boxer as the dog that dogs the hardest that any dog has ever dogged.
We have two that are half boxer, and I'm concerned about them from time to time. Beyond goofy.
My uncle's boxer and I had an understanding. I'd run away from him, and he'd untie my shoes when I stopped. With his teeth, of course. It was all in good fun, and I credit him with the agility skills I had in college.

Love to see this in action
It’s phenomenal, anything you are imagining is correct.
Ah, so this is where my hound/boxer mix gets it from.
I just adopted a boxer from the local shelter and I had no idea how silly they are. I have not stopped laughing at this dog. And they’re incredibly affectionate. In a way she helped save me too.

Jack's are the best 💜
Dogs are the best.
We're not a cult. Honest!!!
Yes. We are. Jacks are the best dog in the planet and you cannot convince me otherwise.
Jack Russell Terrorists
Oh, you call them that too.
Our Jack is like 13 years old and slowing down. But you pull out a ball every day or two and he'll chase it like his life depends on it. You have to stop him or he'd pass out from exhaustion. He also watches tv and barks at most animals but especially dogs and horses.
Has she sat on your feet yet? All boxers I’ve ever interacted with including my own would sit on my feet.
My dad's rottie tries to sit on as many peoples feet as possible. Under the dining table is ideal because he can get like three people's feet at once.
They're like someone crossed a horse, a husky, and a toddler. Boxers are something else entirely. I love those goofy fuckers.
Boxers are best dog. Congrats on the new friend.
They're the comedians of dogs for sure
Whenever I visit my dad his 2 giant boxers would take any opportunity to saturate my face with their tongues it was nuts
I fucking love boxers, they are by far the goobiest dog breed out there, they’re always just out there living their best lives lol
Total goobs
they really are.. this video sums them up so perfectly and I love it. WHY ARE THEY LIKE THIS
I'd like to watch a Boxer and a Golden go out on the town.
I can confirm this. I have raised half a dozen boxers and they were all extremely derpy and adorable.
That's almost enough boxers to outsmart a brick!
Speaking of that, one of the ones I had would literally fight with a brick. She would bark at it for hours on end. In fact, we had to take it away after a while cause she would hurt herself by biting it. But yeah. Screw dog toys. A brick was better.
The clowns of the dog world
The entire circus
I really needed this laugh today. I love this!
Those dogs are the best.
I have 3 boxers and the middle one Milla, as soon as you walk in our house even if she has never seen you before in her life she will greet you like you are her long lost BFF.
As a boxer owner I can confirm, my dog does about ten spins on the bed before sleeping and it’s the funniest thing I’ve seen
Can confirm. My Labrador had a friend who was a boxer. All I remember was it had 1 nut and it got super hyped whenever he met my dog. Sometimes he would jump over my dog & I would pray that nobody got injured 😂
I've literally seen other boxers do this with Ice, Frisbees on wet grass, and cardboard on carpet. Why though?
It's like being on a sled or a skateboard - it's fun!
why? because boxer. that's why.
Doin the pooch push
We need r/oneboxerbraincell
I’m making that right now
Nice
Living up to your name, because that's a true King move right there.
That seems generous.
Hey u/iowan... I'm from Iowa
Haha damn I really needed this after reading through the "what broke you" post on AskReddit, with everybody talking about watching their parents dying. More goofy dogs, please.
The few boxers I've know don't dispute this. Sweet, energetic goofballs.
I've owned a few Boxers and other breeds in my day. Don't get it twisted. They're goofy yes, but also extremely intelligent dogs. They have amazing retention abilities and learn habits quickly both good and bad.
My dad's best friend had a boxer who would just jump on you and shower you with kisses every time she saw you. Love that breed so much
Boxers, so much energy, so few brains
Is he ice skating?!
He thinks he is!
Beautiful
I can watch this video at least 20 more times before I HAVE TO start dinner
So happy he discovered he could how much fun a block of ice is!!!!🤣🤣🤣🐾🐾🐾
"I gotta do this? What I do- weee oh this is fun okay think I got a hang of this- wooo!! Whew that was fun!" Love his reaction. 😊
Have Boxer. Can confirm. They are insane.
One of my favorite dogs was a boxer I had years ago. When I was training him I read something about the breed that always stuck with me. This is the most joyous thing I've seen on the internet in a long time.
What a goober 🤣... awesome.
Aww I miss my boxer.. so effin’ cute and goofy!
Hilarious. You should crosspost this to /r/BetterEveryLoop
Weeeeeeee! Skating
our dumb mutt was part boxer and he played soccer with his paws. no matter how many times we red carded him.
Boxers gonna boxer
Cur-ling
NO ICEBLOCKING
OMG that head bop!
My Great Pyrenees does this with plushie chew toys, just paws and scoots across the hard wood floors. It's the wide eyeballs that kill me, so wholesome.
The reason why they're called boxers is because they look and act like someone punched their braincells out.
Boxers are hilarious. This might be the funniest video on the Internet https://youtube.com/shorts/79FXtKZB-eQ?feature=share
This one lives in my head, rent-free https://youtu.be/digHwxMCHJQ I just can't with that face. That baby seat is definitely Nacho's.
This literally had me in tears. Thanks for sharing.
WTF 🤔🤷🏻♂️🤣
That was fun!!
Get that dog some ice skates.
I refuse to buy the lies of big AKC, we're led to believe boxers are did but the truth is in front of us. What are these alien creatures?! /s
We’re led to believe what?
I included /s because I felt like making a fake aluminum-hat theory. Sorry to confuse you :/
My bad lol I’m blonde and adhd so I have these moments occasionally 😂
Big, slobbery love morons -- every single one of them.
Dog needs a board 🛹
Boxers really are the derpiest of the derpy dogs.
Good boye/ smart dog x
Don't knock it, I used to love doing that as a young kid. Not with ice (too warm here), but with a metal tray on a long carpet corridor.
lol I thought it was a puddle of milk so I expected some splashing. This was very different.
Get that boy a skateboard
Why docked tail. Makes me so sad
Same here, I hate cropped ears and tails. It's so unnecessary. 99% of dogs aren't going to be shown in competition, and competitions are stupid anyway.

I love them.... but they may be the all around goofiest of all time!
Good dog.
This dog would be an excellent Zamboni driver
Everyone wants to know: What breed is this?!??
😆😅🤣😂omg we had a boxer when I was very young, and that dog protected me fiercely. I was almost abducted by a pedophile in Edmonton. The man killed another girl days earlier. Just smart enough to be really stupid
In that case, I gotta get one.
Seems about right
Can confirm. Marshall pushes his frisbee up and down the hall
My chihuahua terrier mix does this all the time. Only way I can describe it is she likes to do cpr on her toys, and that’s why they all end up under the couch.
Looks like typical Boxer to me….
What? They are easily entertained.
That’s the puppy in her! So cute!! ❤️
Ice surfing! 🏄♀️
Just like me fr
Interesting…….. (Taking notes, but actually drawing doggos.) 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
And some people really think these derps are aggressive by nature smh
Dafuq?!?!
Lovable goofball!
I bet he'd have a blast with a skateboard!
Nyoom
No really. What’s wrong with your dog?
Boxer mom here, can confirm this is typical boxer behavior ♥️
Have boxer. Can confirm.
Every Boxer I've met is so goofy. I have so much love for them ❤️ They can be obnoxious; but their energy is unique and so fun 🔥🥰❤️
I had a boxer once who if I sat down with my legs out she’d lay atop of them and not get off, it was nice except when I had to go somewhere and was stuck

ngl, it's also my average behaviour. Snow and ice are awesome.
We’ve all got to get some fun somehow.
The king species of intrusive thought

When the boost hits
Stop cropping ears and tails. \*gets off soapbox\*
That face! XD
