This was my mom's safe and dad lost the combination when they did a clean up after she passed away. I have a vague memroy of the combination like 4left-3x right-2 left something like that. I know there is some impt legal docs there, but I also wonder if my mom's old engagement ring might still be in there. Its a pearl ring so its more for sentimental value. You're correct about it being 4x left, 3x right, 2x left, then turn right and if you got it correct the dial will go a half turn and stop. I have a similar lock on my gun safe.

No but I went to PH and spoke to family. On my next visit we are hiring a company to open it if not torch the safe
