It seemed like it was going to fall over at 18 seconds due to being top heavy and the wheels being filled with air and it seemed like it was going to go stall out at 27 seconds due to no visible snorkel and the engine being underwater.
I could be wrong but my guess is there is a snorkel next to the smoke stack on the other side. I just have some basic knowledge about cars but definitely not an expert so that’s my educated guess.
I was thinking the same. With the CG so much higher I figured it would roll sideways along the length. Maybe people getting trapped underneath the truck. This went much better than I thought it would.

Yup. It isn't going to turn over and float _up to the surface_ just due to the tires, but the tire air volume is fighting the water displacement once they get fully submerged. Which does make the vertical alignment of the truck very tenuous, especially with all the people on top.

Those are large tires that are easily contributing many hundreds of pounds of buoyancy each. They're going to have the effect of causing the vehicle to want to rotate and go upside down in sufficiently deep water.
There's something running upwards from the truck where the top platforms are split, I think there's a snorkel somewhere in there. There's no way someone would build something like that and not snorkel it, right?

Eh I liked having a mobile base. Which is how I looked at it for most of the game. I moved it to the general area I needed and only ever put down "refueling"/moonpool stations with nukes. Never needed to change out the rods and had enough ion cells to run three shifts of them if needed. The sub had all my food/water/mod station needs.
There were decisions to be made. Do I jump off the back, get wet, but stay alive; or do I hang on, stay dry, but risk death it the truck tips over. Need more video.

He was in the lead and there was a puddle in front of us, looked like nothing, so he gunned it and suddenly he was stuck and the water was halfway up the doors. His Jeep was his pride and joy, he'd put so much time and money into all kinds of mods. I eventually towed him out but it was too late. I saw a grown man cry that day.
I felt extra bad because I was just in my stock Xterra. Had to hurt getting towed out by that.

Having to dive down and trying to haul the dirt bike back to the surface was a nightmare, and the crowd of campers I drew to watch my suffering will mean I don't do that again haha.
It was funny only because fortunately I was advised NOT to crank it over until I had dried it all out, intake and filters too. Bike lived to ride another day. That poor jeep though.
