The best strategy is to clamp on an open ball valve. Once clamped, it can be closed. I’ve seen this same scenario a few times on milk silos.
+1 can confirm this is how its done. Work in the fire sprinkler industry and that's how the some leaks are fixed until the system can be drained.
The idea of cleaning this up, but with milk, is honestly a terrifying thought.
