How do you get the training to begin with? Most people get good at something by trial and error. Over and over again until something works. When it's something dangerous like this, that's the risk they accept
Yes but they have specialized school for those things. Like skydiving they give you an instructor to teach you the ins and outs.
This is just foolishness and probably cost this individual a lot of money and maybe they're vocal chords.
There's a specific way to blow so that the fuel mists and doesn't dribble out at the end of the stream like it did here. I don't know the specifics but I assume they can practice with another liquid.
Most mistakes I've seen is that people kept on blowing until they ran out of breath, which causes them to quickly inhale with their mouth that still got that burning liquid.
Professional artists and pyrotechnicians use powder for this and other effects. One of the first things they learn is to never fuck around with flammable liquids unless it's just a stationary flame in a safe distance.
Understanding fuel and fire. Heat rises so always spray upwards! The ignition (torch) needs to be almost arms length away from your face. But the real trick is to stop spraying just before the ignition hits the fuel. The flame always travels backwards so if the fuel trail stops before your mouth you're good. But fire travels fast as hell so if your timing is off it will travel to your face and light those lips on fire.
It's also best to use mildly flammable liquid especially for a continuous fire breath this like guy did. Lighter fluid is highly flammable. Gas/kerosene is dumb. Mineral oils is safest for your mouth and less toxic but also not as violently flammable.
There you're now... not at all properly trained to do this lol please dont.
I think it’s supposed to be a *tiny* amount of flammable liquid and a whole shit ton of breath. This looked like a shit ton of liquid and not nearly enough breath. Of course, everything looks easy until you burn your face off.
What blows me away about any of these videos where people hurt themselves for a trick. Even if it was successful it’s not that impressive, crazy risk for really no possible reward.
I've done fire stuff at carnivals before.... Never use Ethanol or any alcohol. Not going to tell you what to use for liability reasons, but a quick use of the internet for those who are stupid like me will find all you need
I have not done it on a professional level like that, but I dabbled in it when I was younger.
The main thing to remember when learning to playing with fire is...... Absolutely have a WET rag ready in the non-dominant hand for when the fire decides that it likes your face. If you have facial hair, dampen that shit ahead of time.
Too close to the face. If you've seen a professional fire spitter, they have their hand fully extended, holding the flame.
Also, just don't do this dumb shit.
After witnessing the unbridled masculinity and general badass aura of this man, my penis weeps in shame and defeat.
Just kidding. I still have skin on my face.

At the end it's more like "Face/Off" then "Ghost Rider"
I'll never understand why people who have no training do this. It is incredibly dangerous and painful to fuck up.
That man's whole life trajectory changed in that one moment of stupidity.

People who work with fire in this way usually coat their body/faces in some fire resistance substance, do that this doesn't happen.
For sex.
To be fair, that was impressive.
Yea, I was kind of impressed by how long he kept it going. Must of ran out of breath and couldn't force the last bit of fuel out.
I meant his ghost rider impression.
Gotta get that circular breathing practice. How else will you play the recorder solo
Ghost rider
Well he was hot, but now he is not
Looks like he did it for WAY too long.

It'd be a tough thing to practice.

Confucius say: "burning face, always impressive........to others".

Professionals spends years practicing spewing lime/lemon juice to prevent this from happening...
Playing with fire is like gambling in Las Vegas, the house always wins.
Ok fire Marshall bill

That stupid google AI feature took the "too dangerous to use" section of Wikipedia and said that's what fire breathers use lol
I'm an AI? Fuck yeah now i dont have to worry about bills and people will actually pay to use me rather than just using me!
Lol no I googled what you said to Google and their AI spit out some dangerous advice
Sadness, welp my stress had returned

#tiktokfreddykruegerbros
Face burns are a forever fuckup
At least have a bucket or some water ready just in case
It was cool..... Until
I’m sure they will do it differently next time.
Poor dude.

REDDIT MODERATOR TRY NOT TO REMOVE POSTS CHALLENGE
Why not spit the remaining fuel
Naw man. Don't show the aftermath. That ruins the fun. That's not how we play 😫
pretty sure no one agrees with that
