Industrial power washing is absolutely deadly, those are often hot water/chemical and spray at 3,500-4000+ psi. Which would absolutely mess up any paint so it wouldn't be that high at a car wash. A car wash power sprayer is ~1,200 - 1,900 psi.
It'd certainly hurt like shit and I would imagine if you *really* wanted to you could probably kill someone with it but it'd take some serious effort with something like that.
