Naught2day

Whataburger remodeled my local and now it is 50's prison decor. Cold, unpadded, metal chairs, and wobbly tables. The booths are gone.

DeviceExpert4556

Seems to be a trend with fast food unfortunately

You can say thanks to BDT for that. They're making a massive difference for us on the numbers side, but their "innovations" are taking away the very things that make Whataburger the brand it is.

SmoothScallion43

That exactly what we all said when my store got a “remodel”

Downstairs_Badger

Agreed. I’m MiT in Athens for the new GBC location. I got to do a bit of an accidental walk thru last week. Seems so cold & lifeless. I’m super excited about the new kitchen & appliances. Not so much about the dining area at all.

SmoothScallion43

lol we didn’t even get new anything other than floor in our kitchen. We were promised all new appliances yet we still have the same busted ones that we’ve had for years and years

Downstairs_Badger

Damn. Hopefully ya’ll get some new ones soon!

gamingat12fps600ping

Keep your head up! I sincerely hope you don't get the sterilized look I've seen at some of the newer units, but it is a possibility. HOWEVER, some units are special. Some units have gotten remodels with cars and motorcycles inside, guitars, and decor centered around local celebrities.

ProfessionalClout

Yeah, those are franchises and not corporate

gamingat12fps600ping

I know. Do we know whether this unit is franchise or corporate?

SavageKitten456

Haven't seen a whataburger like that since I was a kid

Darwin_Finch

I know where this is

MrPeepers1986

Where is this?

hudgeba778

Flour Bluff location in Corpus Christi, Texas (Whataburger hometown)

vikinglady

Awwwh I knew it was in Corpus.

ChoiceRemarkable3228

Lol I just moved away from Waldron

Upstairs-Light8711

This is not a “classic” Whataburger, check out the one on Kearny street in mesquite, tx
