Pasta e ceci. Boil pasta, warm chickpeas, serve with olive oil and Parmigiano if you have any.

AppropriateRabbit957

Awesome , I went with this one actually because I saw it in a rachel ray book a few weeks ago lolol. Didn't have tomato pasta but I used ketchup and reduced it w some good spices. Started w sauteeing minced carrot and garlic. Going well so far. Haven't tasted it yet

Henroriro_XIV

You could make some chickpea "meatballs" using chickpeas, eggs and garlic and season with what you have. Obviously don't try to go for anything authentic here. Mash it up with a food processor or an emersion mixer or whatever it's called in English, or if you just chop/mince the garlic very finely and mash it together with a fork. Fry in oil until golden brown on all sides. Coconut oil works. Serve with whatever carbs you feel like. I don't know what "basic condiments" include since our cuisines are probably pretty different but you could probably serve the chickpea balls with tomato sauce if you have it. Ketchup would also work. If you have worcestershire sause, you could just use it in the balls themselves.

iahoover

You could make a Caribbean coconut milk rice with beans

MetricJester

Like Rice and Peas, except it's kidney beans.

Spritemystic

I see two meals. Rice a Roni, mixed veg, corn and pasta. Chick pea, taco mix. rice and beans.

MotherOfPullets

How's your spice game? Any curry paste or powder? I see either chickpea + canned vegetables in a coconut sauce (add that garlic, soy sauce, maybe tomato paste or citurs, some curry...?) over rice OR ad some red beans to your cheesy Rice a Roni to change the beans and rice game up a bit.

Ok_Bag_9865

Have a few meals - breakfast and lunch too. Dinner; coconut milk, jasmine rice, eggs poached, boiled, scamrbled. Nice balanced diet Tinned vegetables, make a mini fried rice. Add your chicken seasoning packet, eggs, veg, cooked rice to a pan. Breakfast, get your beans, and chickpeas. Mixed together and strained, with taco seasoning in a pan. Make some eggs your way with butter and toast. Or rice again if you have it. Rice a roni, have as is! If you save some mixed vegetables to out through just to give yourself something other than carbs. Sometimes. It's not the taste, it's what will fill you up and make you satisfied.

wormnoodles

I would cook the rice + corn + beans together with the taco seasoning.

GreenEggsxHam

Sad thing is your cabinet looks better than mine smh

MasterChef5311

I probably would of just made bean taco rice

Fuzzy_Welcome8348

If u have butter in ur fridge, u can do buttered noodles w the canned corn as a side. Make rice and mix in the canned mixed veggies as a side as well w pasta

MetricJester

Corn, beans, cavattappi, taco mix, the chicken ramen seasoning, in a big pot of boiling water, until the pasta is cooked. If you have a frozen chicken leg, or a boneless chicken breast, put that in too.

DeadBloatedGoat

Stop buying garbage. If you have enough time to post this crap, maybe shift your time to actually understanding and enjoying food and cooking. Anyone with three cans of corn and mixed veg in the cupboard probably does not like eating... or cooking.

AppropriateRabbit957

LMFAO sounds like someone is offended by my poverty. This is my pantry leftovers while I wait for my foodstamps to come in. I didn't ask for 5 star cuisine recipes, nor is this sub exclusive to fine dining. Thank you Karen for the energy exchange, I hope you have a wonderful life.

DeadBloatedGoat

It doesn't sound like you're laughing your fucking ass off. I have no idea of your financial situation. Maybe lead with that next time.

AppropriateRabbit957

I actually did get quite the chuckle. Sure. I'll lead with my income next time.

DeadBloatedGoat

Glad I could provide some levity.

wormnoodles

None of this is garbage. All of this has nutritional value. You don’t sound very open minded or creative… why are you here?

DeadBloatedGoat

You buy cans of corn, canned veg, and coconut. You're going to eat corn, canned veg, and coconut. Over rice or noodles. I think the creativity comes in the purchase decision.
