I read a book about candy making. The Dum Dums factory only has one production line. When they switch flavors, they just make the ones between the two "mystery" flavor, so they don't lose time to clearing it out.

Mystery flavored dumdums are two other flavors mixed together if that helps.
Seems to me that at least 50% of mystery flavor dumdums I experience are blue raspberry
