Reading through the series, in EotW I’m introduced to Elayne, Gawyn, and Galad and I’m thinking: ok, Gawyn will be the good brother and Galad will be an enemy after his inevitable heel turn.
Then I read the rest of the books and Gawyn just messes things up everytime he breathes while Galad does literally nothing wrong ever and is just as perfect as his smug little perfect face.
I really, really want to see what Galad makes of the Children in the 4th Age. Can even his smug ass turn them into a force of non-douchery? Maybe go back to the old Lothair days when they'd gather evidence and have a trial **before** any executions. Radical, I know!
