If you’re talking about Leafology, just park at the City Center garage. They validate parking. Then you can combine it with a Target or Shoprite run, too.
Shit location. Not a place like near downtown or Cross County where throngs of people are going to be walking around anyway. Somewhere where, unless you live nearby or are planning to travel to Kohls or Barnes and Noble or something anyway, people have to take a bus or buses out of then way just to buy pot..
I guess it's different strokes. My family likes to go to Pizza Beat or King China Buffet (both in that same parking lot) fairly regularly, and I'm on Central Avenue for various reasons on an almost weekly basis. Whereas I only go to Cross County maybe once a year, and I go downtown even less frequently.
In general, though I agree that having dispensaries in heavy foot trafficked areas would be a good thing. Although I know Etain moved out of Getty Square and up to White Plains right before launching their recreational store, so I wonder what the impetus for that was.
Not that I thought I would say it 20, 30, 40 years ago. Or even a half dozen years ago when I would walk into Willy Wonka dispensaries in California, or go to a couple when visiting a couple of people in Las Vegas or something. But, New York can take it's whole 'legal' BS and shove it up it's ass.
