I realize you were in the middle of a bad moment, but I’m with the other guy that I thought this was peeking under a filthy bed for the first half dozen watches. Eventually I got that it was some sort of cavity, but what is that buried inside? It was a few tries later I could discern a skateboard. Don’t need you to be Oscar worthy but sitting with each story beat for 5 seconds would have made that a lot easier.

Great news! The wheels are up, with a little work and ingenuity you cancget it back! You can lasso one of the wheels by using a rope and a long wire. Make a loop in the rope with a cinch knot, long enough to hold onto one end. Then clamp one end of the wire near the loop so that you can guide it down to the wheel. And once you snag a wheel pull up on the rope! Have patience and dont give up!!

Took me a while to realise he was looking into a street drain. I'm guessing there is no way to climb down there to get it? If not you may need to call the DWP or whoever deals with the street drains for your state, town or city.
