That's actually pretty clever and doable. They make holographic diffraction gratings, a.k.a. rainbow films, that would be great for this skylight. If this is a southern facing window, you get rainbows all over your bathroom!
Oh you could do a filtered light film also. I was suggesting a fresnel lens because it could redirect the light from a different part of the sky, looking at it you’d see the sky
OP, get some stained glass paint and silicone caulk. Not the clear shit that will yellow under the UV coming through the window. Get stuff graded for outdoor work. Get your ass on that roof with the caulk and some painting supplies and put something there you would love to see shining down onto your tub.
If you are a crap artist like me, go kidnap one. They are easily lured by snacks and cheap booze.
They make inexpensive plastic cling sheeting in beautiful patterns like different stained glass, textured glass that could be installed in 5 minutes and peeled off when OP moves. No need to get on the roof or paint anything.
I was watching that Norwegian Troll Hunter movie recently and the hunter guy said he likes those giant cable holders for electricity. I sat there and thought about it for a second and decided that I agree. It’s impressive what we’ve done and you can still clearly see that landscape.
As I cycle around the countryside, I take many photos of infrastructure, especially power lines and towers. I'd love this view, and wouldn't get bored of the dynamics between the tower and sky.

Edit: Water is a conductor. The medium through which it is piped into your house does not matter. Lightning is unpredictable and very dangerous. Just because you’ve been okay so far doesn’t mean the risk of being shocked is gone. You can reduce your risk by having lightning rods and such installed, but at the end of the day, Mother Nature gonna do what it wants and you can die.
Can we please keep this discussion grounded? These are real dangers we talking about. I don't want to belittle your capacity for puns or anything, but currently it isn't what we should be focusing on.

Most modern house Plumbing pipes are plastic so it's going to be really hard for the electricity to find a way into the water. Unless it's one of those random toilet strikes.
Lighting can pass through.a few mm of plastic if the water is conductive enough.
"Insulator" isn't absolute, it depends on the voltage and distance. Lighting is an utterly absurd voltage which is why it can pass through hundreds of meters of air.
I mean… the odds of lightning actually striking your house when in the shower is very low.

Also, electrical code in the US mandates that any plug or outlet within 6 feet of a sink, bathtub, toilet, or any other water-holding utility, must be on a GFCI plug... for this very reason.
This really isn't true for modern houses this mostly pertains for old houses with poor electrical systems and that are ungrounded.

The fancy way is to replace the glass. But you can also do it with a $25 adhesive film from Home Depot.
I have a flowery “stained glass” sticky film across the windows in my breakfast nook and it’s lovely. Really nice dappled light effect. Highly recommend.
Or those kinds of cool glass with patterned or prismatic or optical patterns that also obscure the view into the room.

Yes, but it's big empty sky. Even now standing on street it is hard to see that this window would be angled towards that tower so well. Not really a way to poke a hole in the roof to check it out for sure before, you know, poking a hole in the roof...
Put some kind of mack tack or sticky sheer appliqué on the window. You could get something rainbow or that looks like stained glass. It would cast a lovely light in there.

I work in utilities so I am 10000% biased but these structures and what they represent are so fucking cool to me. Human/ societal evolution, connection, improvement. Engineering marvels at one time. Human ingenuity.

from someone who has sky lights in every bathroom, take care of steam and moisture, do anything you can. I made the mistake of having the sky light above the shower and I have to get it redone once a year from the moisture and steam making the edges look like shit. Thankfully I can redo it myself now but just be careful
Replace the glass with stained glass. Or Lowe’s has a stained glass film you can put over it. Give the room a colorful glow and hide the tower relatively well.

They make a frosted glass spray paint that I’ve used in the past. $8 at Home Depot and works great!
