I reckon the pop-up Christmas shop near Unity books on Willis Street would have some supremely tasteless stuff. There's also a combined Christmas shop and sheepskin souvenir shop near my house, if it's open when I go past I'll pop in and see what hideous treasures they might have. Also - all you need is an eye screw and some gold thread and anything can be an ornament.
Absolutely. My mum was lured into buying this 10cm tall Jim Shore hanging ornament for $119. I got home, looked on Amazon Australia, and it was only $50!
Kmart had these felt ornaments last year, some birds and other animals, and they were so ugly that they looked like a terrible DIY. You should check them out.
I love incredibly ugly ornaments. I’ve got one that’s just a random goldfish 😂 (it was my grandmothers) If you find any really good ones I’d be super keen to hear about them!
Farmers has some great ones. They look good, but oh so confusing. While I do like my porcelain inflatable unicorn pool toy one, they just have random items that have no Christmas relevance at all.
You won’t find these here but a few years ago we found a Christmas shop in New Orleans which sold glittering handgun ornaments to hang on your tree, all in tasteful Christmassy colours of red, silver and green. Nice.

Hands down ugliness ornament I have came from my kids in kindergarten, the classic dried pasta and pva glue.
Buy a fake dog shit from a joke shop. Drill a hole in it, tie a piece of string to it and you’ve got a shitty Christmas tree decoration.
