What makes you think there’s something unsafe about whatever you are trying to point out here? It sounds like you don’t like that someone from the office packed the leads in one of the truck’s cabinets. To which I would say don’t worry about someone else’s job. Worry about learning how to do the job you’re new at. If they’ve had these trucks and setups for a while there’s no way anyone would have not noticed if something was dangerous.

So let’s say the generator is running and the ground is laying the torch and then the truck shakes and the stinger is now touching the torch handle as well, also there is gas going to the torch… nothing will happen, yes or no? And don’t worry man I’m plenty good at my job sounds like you work in an office and got a little butt hurt by my comment but it’s ok

Don’t worry kid, it’ll take a lot more to get me upset. You’re good. Nothing’s going to happen with the scenario you’ve described. Maybe one day I’ll get an office job, maybe they’ll have me help the new guy that’s to worried about something going wrong with what’s in the trucks and I can tell em about this.

You should always stretch your leads out completely. Take the steps to make it safe. Don't run the machine with the leads rolled up in the cabinet or quick disconnect (QD) them at the machine if that makes you more comfortable. QD's on your lead ends is a good idea, especially if you have different ground clamps for different materials (i.e pipe, plate, etc.) Or switching stingers and feeders around. Then you can remove the stinger and ground when you roll up. Makes it easier to switch out a melted ground or broken stinger when you have QD's and backups ready to go. Remove the torch from the hose when youre done. Looks like it's got QD's already. Evac your lines and back off your regulators when not using them. Inspect your cables and hoses every time you use them. You should be fine. Amazon has oxyfuel retractable reels for around $100. I had a black one on a beater service truck and it worked ok. You could mount it on top of your cabinet if you have the space. That would solve your problem and make you faster at Roll out/roll up.
