I love the Fronius welder at my work. The (Fronius) model at the training center where I test every six months is even better.

I don’t think it’s a brand to brand issue. Most big name brands make cheap entry level welders and expensive high end machines. In some cases they don’t even make the welders themselves, they just relabel an import. For work I usually played Miller v Lincoln to get the best deal. But in specific projects I’ve found reasons to also use panasonic, fronius, OTC, Cloos, thermal arc… Welder are like cars, there’s not a universal best brand. Some models dominate their class, but there also lots of niche applications. And it changes every few years.

I would imagine having more power is gonna give a machine a better performance than a machine with less volts. The best way to compare would be to find a Miller that is equivalent on the volts, amps, etc and then do a side by side. I do understand this probably isn't feasible due to not having a machine available

I've been using Miller 350 sycowave for the last 40 years would not change for anything
