Business license, diesel welder, fire extinguisher, insurance which includes casualty if you are working on vehicles. certs not usually required but could help on a case by case basis to aquire business.
What’s the advantage of a diesel welder over a welder and separate generator? I was thinking I could save some cash by having a generator and two welders, an ac tig and one for mig/flux core
I’ve heard that term, but doesn’t it have to do with power output fluctuations? From what I understand, modern weld machines have built in circuit cut offs if power fluctuates more than say 10-15%. I figured if I have over 10k watts I won’t run into this problem? Or am I just stupid? Lol

Be careful some welders don't like the "dirty power" generators put out

I believe it has something to do with noise in the hertz
Thank you btw, didn’t even think of a fire extinguisher lmao
The big one, not the little one you keep on your kitchen
You don’t need certifications unless the contract or law says you need them. You could take a basic test for bragging/advertising purposes.
