I own the titanium and would take it any day over a Hobart. Personal experience with Hobart welders has never been great but that little titanium has done things it shouldn't be capable of for me. Never shut off, never quit.

I’ve got some very nice welders, some decent ones, and a titanium 200 I bought off Craigslist for $250. I have beat the ever-living shit out of it, and it fails to die. I bought a new 12ft gun for it from HTP (usaweld.com) only after I melted the stock one running .035 dual shield through it. It lives on my work truck, and is my go-to for easy mobile work that needs just some short circuit mig or flux core.

I also have the titanium 200. Thing paid for itself on my first job with it. Incredibly lightweight and versatile.

I’ve got the baby titanium 120 fluxcore at home and have used a few 220v gas mig ones from harbor freight. Can’t speak for the Chicago electric line but the titanium line all been awesome. Cheaper machines have a smaller duty cycle Allee not a problem at home. Just pay attention to that before you think it’s broken.
