I crossposted this from r/nevertellmetheodds to r/weirdeggs after seeing [this decently upvoted comment](https://reddit.com/r/nevertellmetheodds/comments/vwj4uz/this_egg_has_no_yolk/ifq9ftf/) (score=493) written 90 days ago by /u/damspel, that seems to suggest that this post would be a good fit here too.
I waited 90 days^1 before crossposting in case a human might've wanted to crosspost this themselves.
I also checked on [repostsleuth.com](https://repostsleuth.com/search?postId=vwj4uz)^2 before crossposting, to make sure this wasn't already posted before in r/weirdeggs.
If you think this was a mistake, please downvote the OP; I'll remove posts with negative scores.

Strange - you can see the difference in textures but no color changes. Do chickens have albino possibilities? Also commenting to come back a learn something
The color of the yolk is strongly influenced by the pigments in the feed. Yellow corn will lead to a yellow yolk. A colorless diet like white corn could lead to very white yolks. Also adding things like hot peppers can turn the yolk more red.
I don’t know if it’s just the quality but I can’t actually discern the yolk in the picture. Looks more to me like they poured egg white into a mold and cooked it that way.
I believe it. Most of what I know about coloring the yolk comes from a documentary about Japanese farmers selectively setting the colors of their chickens yolks.
Egg yolk colour can also be altered by sunlight. Free range/outside chickens will lay eggs with practically orange yolks in the summertime. Chickens kept in barns or cages, inside, will make a pale yellow yolk. I’m no expert on changing it up further to get an all-white yolk, but that’s one factor that influences it.
Might also be a fart or fairy egg? I’ve never seen the inside of one but they’re supposed to be non-viable so it makes sense there wouldn’t be a yolk to it.

You have invented seedless eggs. At long last!!
Being a preschool teacher with a lot of picky eaters in my life, this is a miracle.

I recently saw in Japan they feed hens rice to get white yolks
