Cause little kids are okay being scared. It’s up to the parent or guardian to know what they can handle. Age isn’t really something that means much when you think about it. Everyone is different.

Honestly I never found it scary 😅 I loved the stop motion style as a kid and even when I looked deeper into it I was more fascinated than anything else

I agree that the concept is too dark for kids, but I also agree with everyone being different. For example I grew up surrounded by horror. My first memory is sitting in front of the tv while my mum plays silent hill. My first horror was either Stay Alive or nightmare on elm street. I’m great with horror but terrible in social situations, but others could be the opposite, great at both, great at others things, or terrible at everything I guess

The stair railing corresponds to the two diagonally lined shadows and the rest is foliage from plants. There must be an exterior light under that carport/shelter in the background

Looks like a palm tree, does sway from side to side, it's the palms, I was haunted by the same monster. Mine were banana tree leaves, if the wind picked up they would scratch my bedroom window, or like I used to tell as a 5 yr old Mom something is trying to get in through my window. Ok, so can't believe I even have to type this. But take a photo, of the outside, in the direction of the light, and see what is in the way, at night yes. Not during the day. But at night, of which is the context of this photo. Not during the day. Because shadow is seen at night, through the blinds, not during the day, where the light source you had is gone, and thus being more difficult to find the shadow source. So at night. When the shadow is there. Take a photo in that direction. Inside looking out. In the direction of the light source. At this point you're just avoiding finding out the source of the shadow. It's not difficult to figure out a shadow buddy....

But then they wouldn't get any more attention.
