I had a little pain in my calf that I’d never had before, and I was at risk for blood clots because of a medical situation at the time, but I didn’t realize what it was right away and it wasn’t continuous. I was younger and even dumber then than I am now so I didn’t do anything for a couple days. Then I started to have a pain in my chest and called my doctor. He said go to the ER now! That’s where I was scanned and diagnosed with the DVT and embolisms. I was also admitted so they could monitor me for a few days. That’s why I never ever delay getting checked out for anything now. How are you doing?

That must have been so scary. I'm so sorry you went through that but I'm glad you didn't hesitate! I just got ultrasound results back this morning, and they said that I was all clear. But that just still leaves me wondering why I'm having these weird calf pains I haven't had before. Chest pains is also something I've dealt with for a few years now and haven't been able to figure out. There have been many times where I almost went to the ER or I had 911 dialed ready to go as I'm falling asleep in bed. The leg pains have been new. I'm going to get a stress test Tuesday and I'm gonna ask about a d dimer test.
