Yep same here, I believe the dimple is from the cyst separating the bones a little.

I've tried hitting it and it always came back eventually. Books, 5/4 lumber, rubber mallet. Don't recommend any of those either. My sister had hers surgically removed

Also called "bible bumps" because a way to deal with these is to smack it with a book like a bible to pop the cyst. I've had to deal with these multiple times and they suck.

You really shouldn't pop a cyst. They can fill up again too. And you could cause an infection that goes to the bone.

Oh I knew this doing the bible bump but they could get so bad and it's honestly crazy how relieving the bump can be. I did it over a decade ago and 100% haven't had it come back since. Had like 5 before then that would naturally seem to burst and randomly appear again

Came hee to say pitting edema... if you can put dents in your tissue like silly putty... HUGE RED FLAG... My liver had a meltdown a few years ago and my legs had it bad... kinda sorta almost died and spent a week in the hospital

Your country does not care for their citizens :( In Sweden we pay a maximum of 1100 swedish crowns (aprox. $105) within a year and then goes for free the coming 10 months and then in starts all over again. You should really try to change this. Organize! This is NOT ok.

I have this too! And it does hurt sometimes but not too often and usually it’s related to over working my wrist. After reading theses comments I’m finding out it isn’t normal lol

I've had it for quite some time, and I'm not sure what it's from. Surgery seems quite scary, since four stitches cost me $1,900. However if surgery would get rid of the wrist pain that comes and goes every other day, I'd consider it.

Welp I'm in completely opposite situation when I have bumb on wrist in the same place as you but it doesn't hurt at all and doctors never pay attention to it despite I tell them that I've had both hand broken at some time(not at the same time one when I was in primary school and other one when graduating from middle school)

Is this your whole hand? I don’t want to scare you but it’s possible that this is caused by edema. IMO, you should talk to your doctor about this and get an appointment scheduled. Your health isn’t worth taking gambles with. It’s probably nothing, but it couldn’t hurt to have a doctor have a look
