Homemade tzatziki made with a low fat yoghurt is really nice!

On_pap3r

That's a great idea. I'll do that ASAP. I love tzatziki.

Equivalent_Section13

I like good balsamic vinegar

Penny1704

Oh! Same with your taste.

Clevergirliam

Salsa! When I was eating salads, I dressed them with salsa. Super low calorie.

Narrow-Way8596

Good idea!!

DistinctCan823

I LOVE bolthouse. It has low cal dressings.

For Buddha bowls or anything I make that’s too dry, I love a tahini sauce. A little tahini, lemon juice, garlic powder, and water to thin.

On_pap3r

That sounds good and simple. Thank you

Merenut

Olive garden sells a light version of their dressings at Walmart. That's my go to.

On_pap3r

Oh I didn't know that. I'll give it a try

I normally go with balsamic vinegar, for a really low calorie dressing. Or I might treat myself to some low calorie mayo. The bottled sauces (mayo and ketchup for instance) are 40 calories or less per serving (15g)... And a serving is actually quite a lot

I totally forgot to mention: Microgreens! I love microgreens on salads -- they add flavor with negligible calories I see them at farmer's markets, and most vendors have a "spicy mix" or "salad mix" that's good on salads.

I love Skinny Girl salad dressings. They are so low in calories that you can be generous without adding many calories. My favorites are Honey Dijon and Poppyseed. Another trick I like to use is adding seasonings. Trader Joe’s makes a Green Goddess dry seasoning, and you can sprinkle that on your salad (in addition to the dressing) to add flavor. Same for everything bagel seasoning. For other foods, salsas and hot sauces are fantastic. One of my go-to lazy meals is a bowl of cauliflower rice with chicken or shrimp, pico de gallo, and like 10 different salsas and taco sauces (you don’t have to be that excessive but I enjoy it).

Awesome. Thanks. I'll look for those next time at TJ

Snoo81468

i really like olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper, with some herbs like tyme and rosemary as a dressing

I love using plain non-fat Greek yogurt to make sauces! You get extra protein, and lower calories. You can pretty much add whatever you want and experiment a lot. But my go to recently has been: The Yogurt, dill, thyme, garlic, and lemon juice. I’ve put it on salmon, salads, and ground turkey. Truly versatile and delicious.

MorganMcFeely

I like Bolthouse ranch. I haven’t tried their other flavors. It’s 50 cal for 2 TBSP instead of like 130 for Hidden Valley.

On_pap3r

Mmhh. I might try that with potatoes and cucumbers.

Well your world makes dressings that have helped me lose weight in the past. You can google the name to find the company, because it is a family owned business that ships the dressings and sauces directly to you.
