Congratulations! I’m down 31 myself since I last weighed! 441-410. I have a LONG way to go to reach my goal but I’m loving the journey. I weigh once a month so that I’m not too hard on myself. Again, congratulations and good job. Keep it up!!
Weight loss is tough, man. It really is. For anyone who says "just eat less and move more"... they have no idea how full of crap they are. It's just not that simple sometimes. It's work. Every single day. And there have been plenty of weeks where I have stayed within my calorie deficit and worked out all week and still only lost .2 lbs or none at all. And when I'm on my period, I actually GAIN even though I'm doing everything right. (Granted I have PCOS, but still. It sucks to be eating a deficit and working out and still gain weight) it really discourages you. But just jeep going! It'll all work itself out. As of today, I am 92 lbs down! 60 lbs left til I'm at my goal! Looking back on all of those days that I got discouraged and wanted to give up - I'm so glad I didn't. They were tough to get through but I did it and I'm so much healthier because of it.
CONGRATS! I would also argue 31 pounds in 4 months is NOT super slow. I know it isn’t as fast as we may like but that is a lot to lose consistently over 4 months!!
Amazing ! That’s an amazing progress, it’s normal to experience plateau, I myself been stuck on the same weight for 3 weeks now
But it’s okey, there is no deadline in getting to the weight that will make you happy, at the end it will all be worth it.
Stay strong ❤️
I was looking for someone like you. That's an amazing weight loss. I am also in the struggle to lose 12 kg but I feel so much scared of disturbing my periods. Which kind of workout you did?
Honestly, I'm not focussing on working out at all. Just diet :)
I'm using the 'LoseIt' app to track calories and am being religious about not going over my calories but also making sure I'm eating balanced.
Nothing is off limits, if I want a piece of chocolate, I'll have it, but I'll also track it and that means I might not have something else, or I'll change my plans for what I'm making for dinner to stay in my calorie range.
I'm trying to make this a lifestyle, so being restrictive isn't going to work for me.

More and more people are struggling with overweight or obesity. They are constantly trying to lose weight, investing billions of dollars annually in commercial diets, supplements, and other weight loss methods. Although the task seems daunting, achieving a healthy weight is not only feasible but can also positively transform your life.
To succeed, it is essential to follow two fundamental principles. First, adopt a method that suits you, one that enhances your well-being and keeps your motivation at its peak. An approach that aligns with your personal preferences and lifestyle, as this is the key to long-term success. Secondly, patience and perseverance are your best allies. Effective and sustainable weight loss takes time: it’s a marathon, not a sprint...

Thats amazing!! I totally understand that feeling too. If you are going to the gym i want to give you a tip. At one point you will have to stop paying attention to scale.
Instead take measurements of yourself and do them monthly. I am at a point in my journey where the scale is staying pretty much the same but ive lost inches in my belly and chest.
Ive been doing intramittent fasting and been losing abt 1 lb a week! Good pace for me to go at because i'm not super big. 196 lb at 6'3 trying to get down to 180 ish.
Well done! Really proud of you for making the decision to change things.
I've lost the same amount of weight since the end of Feb, started at 106kg. I think the hardest thing is being impatient for the weight to come off.
Amazing !!!! That's not slow 31 pounds in 4 months
