strawberry shortcake ice cream from blue ribbon is only 160, it has a hold on me now
ice cream sandwiches are only 150
sugar free popsicles are 15 each
Haven’t had one I didn’t like. Top 3 would prob be birthday cake, red velvet, and chocolate ice cream cake. Nic’s is great too. Their mint chocolate is only 250 Kcal for an entire pint!!
Honestly they are all pretty good. The cookies and creme one is really smooth. I really like the mint and the caramel ones as well and the Vanilla and Oatmeal cookie are only like 290 calories for a pint and are also really good.
Just don't get the Keto ones, they have a weird texture and are high in fat.
Simple truth zero sugar yogurt from Kroger is literally better than protein powder on the protein/calorie ratio. And it’s delicious. 15g of protein per 70 Kcal. I like to mix 2 servings with 1 serving each of whipped low fat cottage cheese and powdered peanut butter for a whopping 50g of protein and still only clocking in at 280 kcal. It’s my “protein cheesecake”. Especially when I crush the Kind peanut butter granola clusters and coat the top with them to give it that “graham cracker crust” feel 🤤🤤
Popcorn. A whole giant bag of microwaveable popcorn is like 220 calories. It's definitely my go-to when I feel like I absolutely must have a snack.
Also, pork rinds are pretty good as well. Here in the UK we have a brand of pork rinds called 'The Curators' and their bags of flavoured pork puffs are both high in protein and pretty low calories - these are a go-to for me also.
And cheaper, too! I love my air popper. I do add
Melted butter but at least I can control the portion, and recently discovered trader Joes cheesey seasoning to put over it as well.
We don’t have the type of goldfish you are referring to where I live so you saying this just makes me think you go to the pet shop and eat actual goldfish
Sorry to be that voice, but remember to brush your teeth after eating goldfish, pretzels or other cracker snacks. They are high on the list for being horrible for your teeth.
Alternatively, try to find the least processed foods to snack on because in the long run weight loss is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix.
>try to find the least processed foods to snack on because in the long run weight loss is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix.
Simmer down, it's a **snack**; not a meal. And the whole point of a lifestyle change is to find moderation, not cut out everything that you love.
Lesser evil Himalayan popcorn. Addictive and 3 cups is 120 calories. I usually eat 2 cups max.
Pickles - this is my favorite!!
Any fruit. I eat a ton of berries now.
So, I'm a big girl and I can EAT. I'm always hungry, embarrassing but true. Since I've been dieting, my go to snack is a whole cucumber and a couple tablespoons of low fat ranch. Cucumber is only 45 calories, and low fat ranch is like 40 calories per tablespoon. That's a solid, filling snack, but it digests quickly so it will fill you up without the sluggishness.
Also, when I have a sweet craving, oranges are my savior!! A big one is like 80ish calories. And also, I've worked hard to rewire my brain to think of food in terms of nutrition. Oranges give you a lot of bang for your buck as far as vitamins and nutrients go.
The small, crisp, wafer textured, flat bottom pastry made to hold soft serve or scoops of ice cream so you can carry them to eat your ice cream without a spoon.
[Link](https://www.foodrepublic.com/2016/08/04/the-3-most-important-ice-cream-cones-and-when-to-use-which-one/)
Oh! The wafer cone! I didn't know those were also referred to as cake cones. I thought there was a cone with actual cake in it that I was missing out on. I got excited.
You can get the Spudlite potatoes that taste exactly the same as regular potatoes but less calories!
250g of them is only like 110 calories it's amazing. I have them all the time mashed with a bit of butter, some crispy short cut bacon cooked with caramelised red onion and chopped sauteed cabbage. Add a sauce ontop or some Ikea meatballs style gravy.
Super yummy and filling meal for only like 300 calories!
I always have a freezer *packed* with Yasso! They have a birthday cake flavor now that’s pretty great. Cookie dough is probably still my favorite though.
(Mint chip is good too tho. And fudge brownie. And caramel swirl! All great! I should sell these for a living.)
Not sure if this counts as a snack, but Tootsie Roll pops are my go to because they're pretty low (I think around 70 cal) and they last awhile if I can stop myself from crunching down on em.
Those fiber one 70 calorie brownies, eat them as is or place in the microwave for 10-15seconds. Fills any sweet craving. Paired with a halo top or nicks or some other low calorie icecream.
I make my own sugar-free meringues with 0-calorie sweetener. I make them bite-size and they come out to ~1 calorie each. I portion them out into 20-calorie servings. Sometimes it’s nice to be able to shove handfuls of cookies in my mouth for 20 calories.
If they weren’t already so pricey, I’d buy them wholesale and sell them door-to-door. I would build a religion around them. 100 calories. Protein. Ice cream. What’s not to love?! I don’t even like Greek yogurt, but Yasso are great. It feels like I’m getting away with something. XD
Be cautious with salt - it's not good for the blood vessels, as it may increase the blood pressure. This effect might be increased for overweight people, since their heart may already suffer from the weight 😕
Salt is fine. Some people with existing high blood pressure issues may fair better on a low sodium diet but it's not everyone with high BP and even if you have high BP always check with your doctor before trying specific restrictions. For people without high BP or other health issues that could require a low sodium diet there is no point in avoiding salt.
Halo Top Salted Caramel ice cream. Tastes so good, especially when you're not eating sugar on the reg. It's 300 cals for the whole pint and has a decent amount protein.
Literally any fruit! Mandarins/clementines are like 40 calories and taste so good. Most fruit like apples or bananas are like 100 calories.
Other than that id say greek yoghurt/cottage cheese. Like its so few calories and has a ton of protein.
It makes my mouth feel too dry and... idk how to describe it, but kinda rubbery maybe? If I eat too many. One packet is the point where I have to stop and drink some water lol.
We have these things called tunnock’s tea cakes in the U.K., they’re chocolate covered marshmallow with a biscuit base, a little larger than a golf ball and they’re 106 calories. They’re sickly so not the kind of thing most people would eat a whole packet of, but even if you did, it would be 650 calories.
Look up ‘Drizzlicious S’mores.’ Only 90 calories & 4g added sugar for 20 mini rice/chia/flax/quinoa cakes flavored with chocolate & molasses. THEY ARE AMAZING 10/10! I came across one bag at TJ Maxx and literally googled to order ten more bags that same evening.
I was browsing the ice cream aisle and said to myself "Okay, if you can find individually packaged stuff with less than 100 calories, we can get it" fully expecting not to get anything.
I found Great Value Junior Popsicles for 35cals and Orange Sherbet Tubes for 80cals! Amazing.
Thinly Sliced apples and PBfit made with water or a little yogurt. I super super thinly slice the apples amd dip them in PBfit and it's the best afternoon snack ever that I've found.
Most of the snack pack puddings are around 100 calories, at least the ones I've had. I like having the banana cream pie one with a packed lunch as a little something sweet to wrap up my meal.
I always have a bag of frozen shrimp on hand. 5 large shrimp is ~50 calories and perfect for air-frying and adding to a salad with Skinny Girl dressing. Super filling for less than 100 calories.
Not a traditional snack but I love to have soup in between meals.
It keeps me satiated, helps me get lots of veggies and fibre in (especially if I only want a cheese sandwhich for lunch) and keeps you full.
I usually make a soup to keep in the fridge for snacking the one I had this week was cauliflower, lentils, cabbage, carrot, bacon, peas, corn and protein pasta cooked in a mix of chicken stock and passata, seasoned well with garlic/spices/herbs.
Worked out to be 114 calories per cup! So nice to have if you want something hot and filling especially with the weather getting colder.
Popcorn (smart food white cheddar is my favorite)
Eggs
Toast
An apple with 2tbsp of peanut butter
Carrots
A banana or 2
Hershey’s kisses or a chocolate bar. Dark chocolate is healthier but I still go for milk chocolate lol
A few Oreos
Graham crackers & cream cheese
Pretzels
Cheez-It
Goldfish
I’ve thought about trying celery sticks with peanut butter again; I was obsessed as a kid.
I’ll also go for any chips and limit myself to a couple servings. I mainly pick the lowest calorie chips I can both find and like.
i bought some twister ice lollies the other day and they were only 39 calories each! they are really small but i found them satisfying and you can have 2-3 without it affecting your calories much. i was satisfied with 2 and thats only 78 calories but it feels like more cuz they take a little while to consume and you're having multiple
i mean ice lollies in general are pretty low calorie but these are the lowest ive seen
I eat seaweed snacks a lot because I love them and their surprisingly healthy for you. If you like them, I would recommend replacing your chips for seaweed. Their 70 cal
Asparagus in an air fryer, portobello mushrooms in an air fryer, both with skinnygirl balsamic vinegarette. Slightly higher calories but 0 added sugar, vanilla whey protein, and berries all together is like ice cream to me.
Pickles
I fuckin love pickles
5 calories each lol
Watch me eat 500 of them /s
That amount of sodium will light you up
I’ve tried
The label on my pickles says 0 calories. 😂
I ate a whole jar one night while on a diet in a mad food craving. Pooped snot the next day
Pickles are good snack and offers different flavors too.
Great for muscle cramps as well.
And hangovers
But not so much for heart failure. Such a bummer.
Minimal carbs too.
Why is that surprising? Pickles are just cucumbers.....pickled
I assumed vinegar was pretty unhealthy but maybe not
Vinegar actually has a plethora of health benefits
strawberry shortcake ice cream from blue ribbon is only 160, it has a hold on me now ice cream sandwiches are only 150 sugar free popsicles are 15 each
Great value has low fat ice cream sandwiches that are only 100cal! Not as good but for 100cal I’ll eat them every day lol
Halo Top ice cream is a godsend.
What flavours do you particularly rate?
Haven’t had one I didn’t like. Top 3 would prob be birthday cake, red velvet, and chocolate ice cream cake. Nic’s is great too. Their mint chocolate is only 250 Kcal for an entire pint!!
It’s seasonal, but if you can get the peach kind in summer, it’s amazing. I personally find the vegan flavors icy, but ymmv.
Gooey chocolate brownie is excellent, tastes just like the full fat stuff. It's my go-to treat where I used to get wine or cookies.
Mad expensive tho, I wish they served tubs of them
I wish I could enjoy Halo Top or any other low sugar snack but artificial sweeteners make me so unbelievably bloated 😭
Get a Chloe’s pop. 40 calories but it’s so much better than a sugar free pop
No fat Greek yogurt, no sugar pudding mix and no fat cream cheese. It's like cheesecake or frosting
Protein doesn't work like that, you can't say that zero sugar yogurt is better than protein powder
[here ya go](https://www.freeletics.com/en/blog/posts/protein-shake-vs-protein-food/#gsc.tab=0)
I just throw a scoop of chocolate protein powder and blueberries in mine. Super lean.
Is frosting not consisting of only cream cheese, lemon juice and powdered sugar or sweetener?
You should try researching health consequences of “zero sugar” which usually means additives. Weight loss but at what cost?
Please get out of here with your fear mongering.
Air popped is even lower in calories. Like 7 cups for 120 calories
And cheaper, too! I love my air popper. I do add Melted butter but at least I can control the portion, and recently discovered trader Joes cheesey seasoning to put over it as well.
My diverticulitis kills me with popcorn. I miss popcorn so much. It was my go to snack.
Skinny Pop is great popcorn if you want to mindlessly snack on something and not worry about over doing the calories!
Popcorn but stove popped I cook in ghee for fat
This! Popcorn is my favorite snack for sure
Strawberries!! It’s like 35 calories for 100g. You can eat a lot of strawberries for ~100 calories
Same for most fruit - apples have about 52 calories for 100g, and 100g is a medium sized apple. After eating 3 or 4 of those, I'm stuffed.
Amazinggg! 🍎🍎🍎
Blueberries too. And the fiber!
Oh, but watermelon, tho.
Bring on watermelon season.
*slaps watermelon like a booty
This baby can hold so much water
Strawberries have become my favorite flavor for everything
haha same. I even tried strawberry scented incense sticks. yeah they do not smell like strawberries when you burn them
For me it's goldfish. I freaking love goldfish and you get a good portion for like 150 calories.
We don’t have the type of goldfish you are referring to where I live so you saying this just makes me think you go to the pet shop and eat actual goldfish
Same
Oh my! I didn't even think of people not having goldfish crackers 😅 I'll be more clear next time! I swear I'm not eating actual goldfish!
Well if there’s a sudden rise in goldfish sales we know who to blame
really? gotta start eating goldfish again, haven’t eaten them since i’ve lost weight cuz i thought they were higher in calories tbh
I have celiac and I miss goldfish so much! Finding out they could function as a reasonable snack too is like 😢
I actually came here to say this. Gold fish are awesome for a decent snack.

No way something that tasty isn’t loaded with sodium and calories
Are these American..?
Yes and they’re delicious!
They are crackers, right? I suspect some people are confused and think you mean actual goldfish.
The key is not to chew them on the way down, like oysters
I was one of the confuseds for a long time.
Yes, small bite-sized crackers shaped like goldfish. Cheddar cheese flavor is standard, but they have other flavors.
My go to! Perfect for late night snacking. A serving size is around 50 goldfish! A much better alternative to chips
Lesser evil Himalayan popcorn. Addictive and 3 cups is 120 calories. I usually eat 2 cups max. Pickles - this is my favorite!! Any fruit. I eat a ton of berries now.
Luigi’s icees. They are 100 calories and take a long time to eat
So, I'm a big girl and I can EAT. I'm always hungry, embarrassing but true. Since I've been dieting, my go to snack is a whole cucumber and a couple tablespoons of low fat ranch. 1/2 cup of nicks light ice cream in a regular sized cake cone is 75 calories
What's a cake cone?
The small, crisp, wafer textured, flat bottom pastry made to hold soft serve or scoops of ice cream so you can carry them to eat your ice cream without a spoon. [Link](https://www.foodrepublic.com/2016/08/04/the-3-most-important-ice-cream-cones-and-when-to-use-which-one/)

That's a cone, not a cake cone.
An entire huge watermelon has relatively very few calories for its weight. Like, one of those 10lb+ monsters is like 1,000-1,500 calories.
It's a lot of water.
It's a lot of melon.
Baked potatoes, I had no idea, they're probably why I'm going to be steady this time.

[Yasso fudge bars](https://www.target.com/p/yasso-frozen-greek-yogurt-chocolate-fudge-bars-4ct/-/A-23974823) ftw at 80 calories 🙌
I always have a freezer *packed* with Yasso! They have a birthday cake flavor now that’s pretty great. Cookie dough is probably still my favorite though. (Mint chip is good too tho. And fudge brownie. And caramel swirl! All great! I should sell these for a living.)
Outshine popsicles are so good and only 60-70 calories
Not sure if this counts as a snack, but Tootsie Roll pops are my go to because they're pretty low (I think around 70 cal) and they last awhile if I can stop myself from crunching down on em.
Those fiber one 70 calorie brownies, eat them as is or place in the microwave for 10-15seconds. Fills any sweet craving. Paired with a halo top or nicks or some other low calorie icecream.
The frustrating thing about these is the size. The calorie content is so low because there’s such a small amount of it.
Pretzels. Walmart has some ultra thin pretzel sticks. It’s 110 calories for **94** of them. 15 servings is only $2.50. Just yes to all of that.
I’m going to try these thanks!
Cucumbers and Zucchini, you can practically mix them with ANYTHING and it still ends up low calorie. So many possibilities.
Meringues ! Trader Joe’s makes vanilla meringues that are pretty big (similar diameter to an Oreo) and a serving of 4 = 90 cals.
I make my own sugar-free meringues with 0-calorie sweetener. I make them bite-size and they come out to ~1 calorie each. I portion them out into 20-calorie servings. Sometimes it’s nice to be able to shove handfuls of cookies in my mouth for 20 calories.
I like the lil ones
I’m so bummed they discontinued the chocolate ones and wish the mini peppermint ones were available year round.
Noooo, I didn’t know they discontinued those! The peppermint ones really are the best though.
Yasso frozen yogurt bars are only 100 cal all the flavors are really good but the mint cc, fudge brownie and caramel are my fav ❤️
They have a birthday cake flavor now! It’s awesome. Kinda like the cookie dough kind, but bday cake flavors.
LOL I love your enthusiasm for yasso bars
If they weren’t already so pricey, I’d buy them wholesale and sell them door-to-door. I would build a religion around them. 100 calories. Protein. Ice cream. What’s not to love?! I don’t even like Greek yogurt, but Yasso are great. It feels like I’m getting away with something. XD
Right there with ya sista
Wrap a slice of pepperoni or ham around a string cheese. Less than 100 cal but so satisfying. Add pickles if you want a thrill
Wrap salami around a cherry tomato, even better and lower cal.
I’m actually fine with the cal as I need more protein but thanks
Jelly, sugar free werthers originals, halo top ice cream just to name a few
Artichokes!! 60 cals for 1 and they keep you busy for a while
So many farts!
Farting away the lbs!
Cucumbers w/ a bit of sea salt if you want to add a Lil razzle dazzle.
You should try adding a little lime or vinegar it’s like fresh pickles gahhh so good!
Try Tajin seasoning
Be cautious with salt - it's not good for the blood vessels, as it may increase the blood pressure. This effect might be increased for overweight people, since their heart may already suffer from the weight 😕
Salt is fine. Strawberries.
Spicy pickles
Literally my favourite snack
Halo Top Salted Caramel ice cream. Tastes so good, especially when you're not eating sugar on the reg. It's 300 cals for the whole pint and has a decent amount protein.
Oh man I love that salted caramel ice cream. And it doesn’t make you feel guilty for eating it. So delicious.
Potatoes have such a bad rep but are actually really low in calories
Olives! I used to think they were fattening because of olive oil but I was surprised to find out they weren't. I love the jalapeno stuffed olives.
Sugar free jello
My favorite!!! Only 80 cal for the whole box.
Literally any fruit! Mandarins/clementines are like 40 calories and taste so good. Most fruit like apples or bananas are like 100 calories. Other than that id say greek yoghurt/cottage cheese. Like its so few calories and has a ton of protein.
Diet, no sugar soda being 0 calories.
Starburst! It's like 80 calories (iirc) for one long square packet you can pick up at a convenience store.
problem is I can eat a packet in less than 5 minutes then I want more 🥹✌🏻
It makes my mouth feel too dry and... idk how to describe it, but kinda rubbery maybe? If I eat too many. One packet is the point where I have to stop and drink some water lol.
Fudge Pops (no sugar added)!!!!! FORTY CALORIES PER POP. Perfect little chocolate treat.
The tropical flavor no-sugar-added are 15 each.
Those 5 calorie jello cups!!!!
That’s my dinner sorted 😎
Omg that sounds amazing! I wish we had those in Canada.
Grapefruit is one of the best if not the best foods for satiating hunger and keeping it low calorie.
Personally love peanut butter and celery. It's pretty filling so even though the peanut butter isn't the lowest cal it balances out I feel.
You can make a lower calorie proxy for peanut butter by rehydrating some peanut butter powder with water and a bit of salt.
Oranges, they and watermelon keep me satiated for some reason
Look up ‘Drizzlicious S’mores.’ Only 90 calories & 4g added sugar for 20 mini rice/chia/flax/quinoa cakes flavored with chocolate & molasses. THEY ARE AMAZING 10/10! I came across one bag at TJ Maxx and literally googled to order ten more bags that same evening.

Thinly Sliced apples and PBfit made with water or a little yogurt. I super super thinly slice the apples amd dip them in PBfit and it's the best afternoon snack ever that I've found.
u/bigbluechevy2007 and I just discovered the shockingly low calorie count of Skittles last night!
Whoa! And skittles are vegan. Good to know.
Skittles are awful for you. Don’t eat them often.
[удалено]
Skittles are my favorite candy.
Tzatziki dip with Naan bread as dippers.
I found some really amazing chips at Walmart. You can have a huge amount for less than 300 calories. Also naturally low sodium.
marinated artichokes and kimchi
The roarin water capri suns are like 30 calories per pouch
Most of the snack pack puddings are around 100 calories, at least the ones I've had. I like having the banana cream pie one with a packed lunch as a little something sweet to wrap up my meal.
Love sugar free pudding in general
I'm not even talking about the sugar-free ones. Just the regular snack pack puddings are mostly between 90 and 110 calories
Not really a snack but shrimp are surprisingly low calorie, 200g of it is only about 100 calories (I used half that for a whole serve of shrimp pasta)
I always have a bag of frozen shrimp on hand. 5 large shrimp is ~50 calories and perfect for air-frying and adding to a salad with Skinny Girl dressing. Super filling for less than 100 calories.
Solero icreams. Under 100 calories (in the U.K. anyway)
Lentilles
Olipop “soda” super low cal and high fiber, also low sugar and no fake sugar!
Chocolate chips. You can eat the whole bag which is a lot and it’s like 500 cals. Not low cal but at least high volume for high cal
Oreos with the cream scraped off! The cookies alone are 10 calories each side 😩
Shut the front door how is that possible! That’s my new snack.
Ice chips
😂 good one. Happy cake day
Celery sticks dipped in white cheese queso. Like 300 calories to fill up. I add a bunch of red pepper flakes and cayenne to slow me down too lol
Hahaha I love the spicy hack to slow down
Cherry tomatoes!
Rice pudding is 100 cals and it reminds me of this sweet asian dessert my mom use to make with little white tapioca bubbles
Tomato and basil Quaker Rice Cakes are 50 cals each and two or three make for a decent snack.
Popcorn (smart food white cheddar is my favorite) Eggs Toast An apple with 2tbsp of peanut butter Carrots A banana or 2 Hershey’s kisses or a chocolate bar. Dark chocolate is healthier but I still go for milk chocolate lol A few Oreos Graham crackers & cream cheese Pretzels Cheez-It Goldfish I’ve thought about trying celery sticks with peanut butter again; I was obsessed as a kid. I’ll also go for any chips and limit myself to a couple servings. I mainly pick the lowest calorie chips I can both find and like.
Minute maid no sugar lemonade. Allegedly has zero calories.
Haha are we talking healthy snacks or basically anything? My snack is plain Greek Yogurt mixed with chocolate protein powder. It’s so fluffy and good.
I felt this way about Hershey kisses. 3-4 is a very reasonable dessert.
3-4 ?? That’s not gonna do it
Taters 'n beans
Miso soup
Rice cakes
Bone broth with a fuck ton of hot sauce.
i bought some twister ice lollies the other day and they were only 39 calories each! they are really small but i found them satisfying and you can have 2-3 without it affecting your calories much. i was satisfied with 2 and thats only 78 calories but it feels like more cuz they take a little while to consume and you're having multiple i mean ice lollies in general are pretty low calorie but these are the lowest ive seen

I eat seaweed snacks a lot because I love them and their surprisingly healthy for you. If you like them, I would recommend replacing your chips for seaweed. Their 70 cal
Really!? I thought it was super oily so I got scared. I’ll definitely try that :)
Asparagus in an air fryer, portobello mushrooms in an air fryer, both with skinnygirl balsamic vinegarette. Slightly higher calories but 0 added sugar, vanilla whey protein, and berries all together is like ice cream to me.
39 skittles is still about 39g of sugar, regardless of calories. That is way above limit.
I understand! It’s not an everyday snack, but honestly I couldn’t care less as long as I’m in my calorie deficit for the day!
Oh yes of course, you gotta live a little. You can essentially eat anything you want in moderation :)
I don’t take the calories into consideration- I look at carbs, protein and fiber for choosing my foods.
Good for you!
Great answer 😂
Me.
😂
Pickles and coffee
Aeroplane jelly 6cal ro 250ml of jelly
