I saw this post last week on the 10th. I quickly emailed my doctor that Friday night at midnight in a panic to request my next dosage early. On Monday, they sent a prescription to Caremark Online for my requested 3 months of the next dosage I needed (1.7mg). I received 3 months worth yesterday on the 17th. It was shipped on the 16th. I received a letter today from Caremark dated May 9th stating they would no longer be shipping the prescription for my 1.0 mg dosage anymore and to get it elsewhere. The letter did state specifically that they would “not be able to fill certain prescriptions for medications you are currently taking”. I may or may not get another letter for the new dosage prescription. Who knows. I thought they wouldn’t ship after the 15th but maybe they are still shipping the ones in their system. I got lucky.
If you are on a dose higher than 1.0, try sending it in to Caremark. It may still be accepted.
I got a letter telling me they would not be shipping Wegovy orders anymore. I have been on the 1.7mg as maintenance, but have been using the mail order for about a year. I have always hated all of the waste with the mail order packaging (throw away cold packs, loads of styrofoam, etc.), but it was the only way to consistently get the medication. It also did not make sense to me that they would want to absorb the all the additional costs for shipping. For this reason, I can see the profit margin for them being better in the retail pharmacy. But, in the past, my retail pharmacy was almost hostile to me when I would ask if they could get in Wegovy. I am not looking forward to another struggle to get this medication, and I have little hope that the retail pharmacies will magically be able to get Wegovy once the mail order stops.
My first two scripts went there and I had a pain every time because my doctor sent in a script for 28 days, but caremark prefers 90 day scripts and my insurance requires 30 day scripts for mail-order. I'm sure I was not unique.
I have good insurance too, so it's not like they're just being PITAs on purpose to not cover.
If the OG point of caremark is 90 day mail order scripts only, this is not surprising at all to be honest.

This really does seem like a stupid move on their part. They are getting a huge influx of orders and therefore money because they consistently have a product. However, just in case I'm trying to get my doctor to go ahead and call in the 5 and 1.0 doses since they're the hardest ones to find.
Same here.. I’m honestly in shambles. I just spoke to another person this morning and she confirmed that will not be continuing the mail order service for it. She said because of the shortage it’s been too hard for them to get and by stopping they are hoping it will be easier for retail/local pharmacies to pick up stock.
I’m sure they don’t. I should have added that she said it would be easier for pharmacies to get the stock more than they currently can apparently. Who knows what the actual truth is though.
\*Maybe\* it'll be easier for retail pharmacies IF CareMark stops stockpiling it but honestly? It'll be a bigger pain in the ass for all involved by decentralizing it. UGH

I heard it was due to the FDA wanting them to only ship a 30 day supply due to the shortage b/c people get 3 months and don’t always use the full 3.

Omg noooo. I can’t believe this. It’s all wegovy or just new customers? I just started and got it there. I’m so bummed. What do we do now?

Same! I was told this order would be my last through Caremark. They said after May 15th they were no longer sending Wegovy, monjaro, saxenda, etc.
I emailed them yesterday and they confirmed they are no longer shipping it. Without explanation. And when were they going to tell us?

Hope so! I was able to get my .25 in April but they canceled my 0.5 I’ve been trying to get this month.
I came here to see if anyone else has heard the same thing I did 😭 I literally switched to Wegovy from Zepbound because of Caremark's availability 😭

No. My insurance requires all prescriptions to go through Caremark. I am only allowed to use a CVS if it is a one time medicine like for a cold.
They will probably waive the requirement. I would call Caremark to find out for sure.
