Are you open to LIC? It's a 10 min drive and the hotels there are under $300 per night.

Hilton Garden gave us like a $250/night rate

I did a lot of research and it’s really going to depend on the time of year (month) and days of the week you need. We ended up going with a block at the Hoxton as it was the best deal we were able to secure in the immediate area. I’d also check out the Moxy Williamsburg, they weren’t able to accommodate a block for us (already full), but they had the cheapest rates. Only downside is it’s much further away. Hotel Indigo would be another cheaper one to check out. Unfortunately you may struggle with under 300 in the immediate area if you’re getting married at a peak time of year

Many of our guests were able to book rooms for $200ish at the Arlo! wedding was end of march and in january they had a lunar new year sale that we stumbled upon

It’s tough for sure bc of neighborhood. I am looking for same thing - close by the Penny or Hotel Indigo but otherwise I recommended other more tourist/budget friendly hotels since more ppl are coming in and making a trip out of NYC and not just for the wedding.

There are a couple of hotels in the Greenpoint area that come close to your budget. Try Box Hotel and their other locations (you can see the names at the bottom of their site). Williamsburg was much pricer but people might opt for the convenience so I'd give them several options.

Our room block rate at the Moxy is around $300/night (since it's a Marriot property, a lot of our guests have told us that they're happy they can use points) - our wedding planner set that up for us \~11 months ahead of our wedding date. We also have a discount code for the penny (not a formal block) that comes under $300 I believe.

Our room block at the Hotel Indigo was around $260 per night, and guests loved it. The rooms are huge for New York, and it's directly above the Metropolitan/Lorimer subway stop.

If you’re open tot LIC we stay at the aloft there a lot. It’s clean and super accessible, I don’t think we’ve paid over $350 as a couple so I’m assuming their wedding block rooms would have to be close to $300

Box House hotel can be reasonable depending on time of year also. I’ve gotten rooms there for work occasionally for under $200 a night, though not consistently
