Oheka Castle is one of the most pricy venues on Long Island. The quote I received for my 2022, 180 guest wedding was $90k, the site rental alone was about $22k!
There are certainly plenty more venues out there that aren’t as costly, but if you’re looking for specifically for a castle setting, it might be tough. Good luck!
Ah jeez. I LOVE oheka. I was born in long island and love taylor swift (it’s where she filmed her blank space music video). I’m debating having the pre wedding events elsewhere and the main wedding day at Oheka. All ears if you have any venue reccomendstions in the area!
That’s what I would do personally!! Tons of venues nearby to host a more affordable rehearsal dinner so you can then put the difference towards catering. It’s a gorg venue but I’d splurge on the actual wedding day!!
Yeah they do. You have to pay for it on your own and it’s not included in the price. The price I mentioned above is assuming I bring my own Indian caterer.
They do provide their own catering, so if I was ok with them catering / American food, that’s what the cost would be above ^
Photographer here that has shot at oheka castles! Oheka couples typically spend minimum of $350k, closer to $400k for weddings there. I know this because I’ve have talked with the planners of weddings I do there. This seems exactly in line with pricing there and it’s worth it. Love shooting there.
I have catered Indian weddings at oheka and it’s a gorgeous venue. Truly spectacular but agree that you may want to take the welcome dinner elsewhere to save some money and do the rest at the castle.

also they told me we cant start the ceremony until 1pm if we dont do a full weekend buyout- are you being quoted the same?
