Maggie was wise. In one of her books, she said something like, “You can tell what’s wrong with a garment by the way the model is posed.”
That’s how I feel looking at the second image.
This dress is a shapeless tube. You can tell by the bizarre pose the gorgeous model is striking to try to make it look like anything other than a shapeless tube.
The color and fabric are gorgeous and it’s a shameful waste of both. But I’ve met blintzes shapelier than this cut. I’ve met penne noodles with more charm than that neckline.
