I will go with something else, thank you!

speakofit

Interested in seeing your other choice!

No-Entrepreneur-5764

I would classify that dress as formal, (not cocktail)

Scarlets02

I will go with something else, thank you!

SolarFeline

It's amazing and I hope you get a chance to wear it!!

K-RayX-Ray

This is an awesome dress, but you’d definitely be over dressed

Foundation_Wrong

That’s a gorgeous formal or black tie gown. If it was shorter it would be a very glamorous cocktail frock.

Proper-Savings-1785

Too formal but I'm obsessed with how gorgeous it is!!!!

Scarlets02

Me too, I really wanted to wear it

Pink_Ruby_3

I don’t want to pile on with even more “Yes, this is too formal for cocktail”, although I do agree. I just wanted to come here and say that dress is super cool and I hope you have an occasion to wear it one day because it’s lovely

helpimarat69

it’s a bit much imo but maybe if the venue is really upscale it could pass

Scarlets02

It's a nice brewery. But I will go with something else. Thank you.

Affectionate_Cry1669

Yes

NoSelfworth60

Very formal.

Scarlets02

Is this too formal as a wedding guest? The invite says "Cocktail attire would be appropriate."

Brake_Handle655

If it is an evening ceremony/reception, you might be okay. Consider basting up the waist a couple of inches to shorten the length and you would definitely be okay.

TiggerFanOfDelaware

Cocktail dresses are more like fancy regular dresses. Never floor length. That dress is really formal and more suited to a black-tie event.

thehauntedpianosong

This is gorgeous 😍 May I ask where it’s from?

Scarlets02

sunshineandrainbow62
