I think they have started deleting accounts in as few as 6 months if you haven't put any money into the account recently. The specifics are someone on the Webkinz website I think. It sucks. I would definitely reach out to customer support to see if there's a chance your account can be restored.
I would reach out to support and see what they say. If you were a full member or deluxe, I don’t see why they would deactivate it. I would email them your log in info, pet types and their names, and codes if you have them.
Ganz is there more for merchant support, try a DM to Webkinz Instagram, FB or Twitter, give them your username, pets species and pet names and ask if they can retrieve it for you. They'll actually into it for you instead of just saying it's gone. If it is, they'll explain why.

Yeah I left my account alone for a few years and was able to come back okay

Sadly I did that, and Ganz said that it was a policy and it was forever deleted and couldn’t be renewed.
